    David James Archuleta (born December 28, 1990) is an American singer-songwriter and actor. At ten years old, he won the children's division of the Utah Talent Competition leading to other television singing appearances.[6] When he was twelve years old, Archuleta became the Junior Vocal Champion on Star Search 2.[6] In 2007, at sixteen years old, he became one of the youngest contestants on the seventh season of American Idol.[7] In May 2008 he finished as the runner-up, receiving 44 percent of over 97 million votes.

    Hello all! Still a David fan 🙂

    What a year and the last few months have been rough. My hubby starts treatment for the c word tomorrow, still have a hard time saying the word 😦 We both had covid but thank goodness we’re ok. We’ve had family loose the battle with this horrible illness.

    But David and this fandom continues to bring a smile 🙂 David’s hasn’t been tweeting as much but he is still keeping in touch. I’ve posted posts from this year for our enjoyment.

    Thank you Dja! It’s great to be brought up to speed on David’s world. 🙂 It’s got to be sooo frustrating to him and the crew to keep this tour hanging on the back burner. Things are starting to look a little brighter these days.

    Good luck and best wishes to your hubby with this journey and the road you’ll be traveling. Prayers to both of you for strength and courage. ♥♥

    We’ve both missed getting Covid and are both vaccinated with both shots, so hopefully, we’ll stay free from it. We’ve had some of our kids get it but they weren’t really hard cases. My sister did end up in the hospital with it for 5 days and is still feeling the effects about 9 months later but at least she recovered.

    I hope all of you are weathering the weather that’s been so crazy the last little while. We go from winter to late spring and we’re heading back to early spring in the next couple of days. But, Utah needs some serious moisture to fall from the sky so we don’t complain.

    Thanks for all the goodies, Dja.. David always puts a smile on our face. A highlight with all the covid crap going on the past year. Some of my family had it too and come out ok. I have been lucky so far..sorry to hear about hubby…the C word is awful..mine has been gone almost 13 yrs now from lung cancer. 😦

    Still have my ticket to his concert here in KC for May 18th. Haven’t heard from them that it has been postponed but sure it has since David said he’s canceled out this year. Have to wait and see what’s going on and when.

    Yep, you are right, Tawna21…the pink went right in! Great one, Abs, thanks! Hate it that I won’t be able to watch the Stagie Awards…I will be out of town. But will get to see the Easter concert. ♥ Watched the Grammies and David sooo outsings so many of them…maybe something will come of the Taylor Swift thing, David so deserves more than what he is getting..for sure!
