davidarchie As the week ends, I want to wrap up the #10YearsofCrush celebration with a giveaway! Whether you’ve been with me from the beginning in 2008 or joined the journey in 2018, I’ll be randomly selecting one of you who share your favorite memory by commenting below! You’ll win an autographed copy of my debut album that features “Crush” as well as my most recent album #PostcardsInTheSky… just in case you haven’t heard my new music! 😉 You’ll also get an 8×10 poster and necklace. I’ll be announcing the winner on Monday! And thank you again for the past 10 years! It’s been one amazing ride and I can’t wait for what the future holds.
As we continue to celebrate #10YearsofCrush, I’m going to be sharing some fun facts about the song! 10 Years of “Crush”
Ten years ago, I released my first single “Crush” and from that day on it changed my life forever. I can’t believe how fast a decade flies by! I do know one thing… and it’s that this memory ain’t goin’ away-ay-ay-ay-ayyyy.

My favorite memory is the first time I met David in front of Sprint Center when he was here in the AI concert. They were all outside doing autographs and when I was talking to him while he was autographing 2 photos, I had I told him that I knew I was going to meet him because I had heard Crush on the way over. LOL I was nervous so I blabbed and he was nodding his head saying “really, that is nice”! I heard Crush 4 times in just a matter of a few hours. It was monumental to me so I made it my ringtone and it still is after 10 years! ♥♥ That was almost exactly 10 years ago around August 19th .

My first time hearing Crush live was 3-27-2009 in Salt Lake City. So, that will always be my most memorable time. In all honesty, though, I’ve grown away from Crush being my top favorite. I hardly listen to it anymore. I don’t know why — just have. I’m liking his new music more as it seems more adult — as he is.
However, I’ll always be grateful for Crush because that’s what got this train rolling!! 🙂

I did! 🙂 I have a problem with anxiety and when in a situation like that, I blab. That’s why I can talk a lot one on one, but more than that, I’m quiet. Kudos to David for being able to open up to his fans and his excellent performing in his concerts. ♥
Crush is not my favorite song either. It’s in my top 10 and with it being the first big hit, it makes good memories. So many thru the years have become favorites. One of my all time favs is Angels. He wows me no matter what he sings. Just something about that VOICE!!!!! It is amazing how much his voice has changed from the early days. With him getting older and better, so does his songs. 🙂

The photo up yonder doing the stripped version of Crush, David is wearing a Pokemon shirt that I bought him for Christmas last year. Bout fell of my chair when I noticed that he wore something from me! Thanks, David! 🙂

I just got an email from the David Archuleta site and it’s a countdown to 4 m Wednesday Sept. 5, 2018 for new news on his concert and new album!!!!!!!!! Hooray!!!!!!
