    David James Archuleta (born December 28, 1990) is an American singer-songwriter and actor. At ten years old, he won the children's division of the Utah Talent Competition leading to other television singing appearances.[6] When he was twelve years old, Archuleta became the Junior Vocal Champion on Star Search 2.[6] In 2007, at sixteen years old, he became one of the youngest contestants on the seventh season of American Idol.[7] In May 2008 he finished as the runner-up, receiving 44 percent of over 97 million votes.

    Ooh, lots of goodies! The place he will be here in KC is small too. But they say the small ones are tons of fun…more intimate. I shall see. 🙂 He has been here At Sprint Center twice that holds 20,000 and the Midland Theater that holds a few thousand.

    Haven’t heard from Dayzee lately. Hope you all are all right, I’ll text you this weekend. 🙂

    I am finally home. I could have kept touring all the way to Nashville!

    I met a lady on the plane who had to sit by a David fan after concerts!! You know the excitement his performances bring to us all. So she graciously listened to me tell about just seeing David, concerts, touring, the Tabernacle Choir Christmas performances and so on. There was hardly enough time to tell all!

    Anyway, she will hopefully be dropping by here to say hello. She is from Austin Texas. The videos only capture some of his amazing voice.

    If anyone has ‘O Ven O Ven Emanuel’ please post it as I had mentioned it to her and it is quite lovely. The video of him singing to the young choir. It is is a rather difficult one to locate. Thank you!

    Sandybeaches, glad you had a good time and I know what you mean about talking about David. Sometimes I think people get tired of me talking about him. They seem to excuse themselves after a bit. 🙂 They can’t go anywhere on the plane tho! LOL

    I could listen to O Vin O Vin Emmanual over and over. Love it! ♥

    Tawna, I will. Didn’t have time to make contact with her. Hope to tomorrow. 3 fans from Northern CA got a hold of us and wanted to know info since they didn’t know KC. So I am to pick them up along with Dayzee and we will all go together. They are going on to Nashville Friday and Dayzee leaves Sat. night.

    The place here in KC is called Knucklehead’s Saloon and the main part is called the “garage” too. It’s small and in an area I wasn’t familiar with. In MO and I live in KS.

    Got my Amazon email….they have sent my cd’s and will arrive Tues! ♥

    Yes the smaller venues are more like a VIP or a Nova Scotia (Maritime) kitchen party. Musicians have such a good time themselves at smaller venues. David actually said that being so close and seeing faces near him, he would probably remember them compared to looking out from a stage through the lights.
