Dayzee, I wonder why he’s just doing a Christmas concert every other year. Maybe it’s just so expensive and a lot of planning to get the venues booked. So thankful that I have got to see him the times that I did.

People, I’m on a David high! WOW! Just when you thought his last performance was the best he knocks it out of the universe, I’m not exaggerating, for reals! I have some pictures and videos that I’ll put into a little recap this weekend. I’m at work trying to focus lol
If you possibly can make a concert please do. He really is getting better and better in every single way.

However, I seriously do not envy then the tour bus part of the tour! I just can’t wrap my head around shaving in a parking lot/campground. Where do they shower? I want a hotel room with my own pillow!!

I got a real early birthday present today. My old 9 yr old computer has been giving me problems and my grandson went and bought me a new one! My bd not til Sept…. π So far I love it. Just got to get used to it.

A Date with David Archuleta
Last night, Sarah and I had the experience of a lifetime. It began back in April, when Sarah heard that David Archuleta was coming to our rural mountain area to perform a concert in the town of Snowflake, about thirty minutes away from where we live. We had attended one of David’s concerts in the Valley, back in March 2016, which was awesome, but also a little disappointing when we had no opportunity for autographs or pictures with him.
Not that most concerts allow such opportunities, mind you. However, given the smaller venue of the Archuleta concert, we’d hoped it might be like others we’d experienced. Back in July 2008, we’d seen a performance by the group called Six at their theater in Branson, Missouri. After the concert, the six Knudsen brothers came out to meet their lingering fans, take pictures, and sign autographs. When Sarah and I attended a performance by Taylor Hicks in Las Vegas, back in June 2013, he also met with fans after the show. It was pretty great.
Determined not to be disappointed again, Sarah made up her mind that we were going to pay the $120 price for the VIP tickets that included “Dinner with David” before the concert. Sarah’s good friend Emmi decided to join us. And then began the LONG WAIT. Sarah counted down each day until it finally arrived. Yesterday.

Hope to have time to settle in and listen to all the vids soon. I need my “only DA” space, to relax and take it all in. Some singers it is okay and fun to “nibble”.
Can’t do that with DA.

Checking out the cheek kiss at #17 not sure if David is smiling or gritting his teeth. haha
Waiting for Jenny and Dja to regain their communication abilities. The pic of them standing in line brought back memories of butterflies. Nice to have friends with you to keep you from floating away. And any time you are in a line to see David you will always have nice people to lean on.

Love all the Troubadour vids. First time I’ve heard people singing along to Forevermore – truly epic! He should play at such clubs more often. It brings out the beast in him. LOL
I’m happy to see Jennette McCurdy was at the Troubadour. πI still ship them. Haha
I thought he said in a radio interview in Singapore years ago that he wore size 9 shoes. Anyway, he won’t be getting shoes from me. We don’t give shoes as presents because “shoes” in Cantonese (a Chinese dialect) sounds like a sigh. It’s bad luck to give something that causes the recipient to sigh.π€

Fenfan, I could have sworn I heard size 9 in shoes, also. That’s a very interesting reason not to give shoes as a gift. Love it! π

YouTube keeps a record of everything, including David’s shoe size.
Here he is in Singapore in 2009 confirming that he wears size 9 shoes. (fast forward to 1:20 for the shoe talk)
Could his feet have shrunk two sizes between then and now?????
