Looks like we will be getting a new David Archuleta song in the next 28 days! And the rest soon after!!! David leaked it in his latest IG story, kinda just slipped it in lol. Make sure you read David’s little notes through out. And we’re also treated to his singing! I for one cannot wait!

Guess we are both right Dja with a song being released in Feb and the album shortly after! 🙂 Now that I have my answer, I can quit wondering and commenting about it..sorry maybe I run it in the ground…but it was something to talk about! 🙂
Always loved “Numb” and that the song brought him back to us. Good luck on your life changing decisions. Hope all turns out well.
It was great to hear him singing along with the one gal (can’t remember the name of the song right now), but I wanted more, more. Can’t believe how much his voice has lowered since AI. Was listening to his music from past years and there is a big difference. ♥

That was so fun unexpectedly hearing David join in singing Confetti on the Live Show video. A big grin took over my face and my ears automatically rejected all sounds that were not David. Just the usual stuff.
Makes me happy to see David having a good time with friends and music. This is what I want for him.
Jan, never stop commenting. We need you to remind David that we are all here and waiting.
Love the David pic at #3. How can anyone look so gorgeous in such a messy shirt? Maybe he will write a song to explain that.

Getting a bit better with the cold part, but the cough part is hanging on and making me feel like typhoid Mary 😉 She infected others because she was a cook.
Today I am going to make this recipe in my Instapot using the slow cooker function.
Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos
Yields: 8 servings | Calories: 382 | Total Fat: 12g | Saturated Fat: 4g | Trans Fat: 0g | Cholesterol: 57mg | Sodium: 1237mg | Carbohydrates: 44g | Fiber: 6g | Sugar: 7g | Protein: 26g | SmartPoints: 11
Ingredients
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
3 cups no sugar added salsa
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 cup corn kernels
1/2 cup black beans
1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
8 whole wheat flour tortillas
1 cup shredded Romaine lettuce
1 large tomato, diced
1 cup low fat shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced avocado
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
Directions
In slow cooker, add chicken, salsa, cumin, chili powder, corn, black beans, and broth. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Remove tender chicken from slow cooker and shred with a fork. Return to slow cooker and cook for another 30 minutes on low or 15 minutes on high.
Spoon about 2 tablespoons of shredded chicken into each tortilla. Top with lettuce, tomato, cheese, avocado, and yogurt. Serve and enjoy!
OPTIONAL: Substitute corn tortillas for flour, making the taco gluten free! Jalapenos, onion, guacamole, or any of your favorite taco toppings can be added or substituted.

With Tuacahn and Christmas concerts, I got used to David concert being a regular thing lol. Trying to channel my need to be obsessive about something to something else that is positive.
But nothing else is the same. David, I need your concerts! Lol.
It’s the whole process of ticket buying, trip planning, meeting other fans, VIP event if we r lucky, concerts, talking about it after and watching videos! And staring at memorabilia for months after.

Jenny, Yes! We all need us a David concert. I was so spoiled during November and December with all those David items you listed at #15. I still carry some of that David dust that was in the air. And to have him actually show up at the St. George fan lunch in his own skin with his entire band and crew was something I will always have in my heart.
For me, coming here is the next best thing to live David. So many pics and videos and loving fans. Thank you all. This journey would not be near as much fun without you.
Was looking in the ticket folder that sits in my closet. There are tickets in there, but none have “David Archuleta” printed on them. This folder used to be shiny and magical and now I see it is just a plain manila envelope.

I just may have to buy the pot too since my 30 yr old crock pot has bit the dust. I have 2 others but they aren’t too great. Never liked them so used my old stand by that never failed, but it failed the other day for the first time so will have to give it up, I guess. I want everything to last forever! 🙂 lol

I was just looking at the picture and was thinking how everyone comments on how small David is and I never hear anyone mention how small Kris is. He looks smaller than David. Not that it matters or anything, just observing 🙂

I agree Dja. He is short and so is Jason Castro. I seen him at my son’s church in Rockwall, TX. and couldn’t believe how short he is. I seen Kris at the Pro Bowl 6 yrs ago…he was a great surprise to us as we didn’t know he was the featured singer. The year before, David sang there and I wanted to go so bad, but Kris was a good second. 🙂 I don’t know how I get to talking about other things…my mind just wanders…just pretend I’m David, I guess….. 🙂 hehe NOT!!

Love the look on that missionary’s face. And David’s smile ain’t bad either. Another hand resting on David’s shoulder. I have a picture of my granddaughter’s hand resting on that same shoulder. I think that is where the magnet is that attracts missionaries and anyone else who gets within touching distance of David.

I like to think of David being the lighthouse beam. He has certainly helped me get through some of life’s storms. However, he has also put me into some horrid actual snowstorms, mostly in Idaho.

I read or heard something about NBC rotating The Voice and American Idol on their schedule. The Voice runs 2x a year now, so maybe they will run each show 1x a year.
I am a big fan of Billy Gilman who came in 2nd place on The Voice this past season. It will be hard to find another singer I like as much as Billy (Besides David). He was thrilled to be 2nd because he wasn’t tied down with contracts for the next year. It gave his career a huge boost, which is the reason he tried out a year ago.

I could browse everywhere to look for signs of David but instead I am asking you his fans, where is he? Really on his honeymoon Deb?? So many he has performed with and grown up with were at the Grammys or have been before. He would possibly have had a Grammy by now not just for the prestige of receiving one but just because people were enjoying his voice. Maybe he would have been like Adele singing to the world standing there by himself. I believe that her band was even behind the curtain.

SB, I don’t have any idea of where David is. Remember when we used to know almost every day what color of socks he was wearing? I too thought of David when the Grammy’s came. I would like to see him on that stage. But I wonder if he wants to be there. Maybe in the future. David can be more patient than I am because he is 26 years old and has more time ahead of him than I do.

You might want to wait until your back is healed. The appliance is heavy(for a sore back) to lift and the inner pot has no handles to lift it out to wash. I bought the slow cooker lid as an extra because it’s clear glass and much easier to clean than the pressure lid. Do a lot of reading up on how to use it and buy a few cookbooks for your iPad.
