Ray, David’s comments certainly do give us something to think about! I’m hoping it just means changes regarding how he is working his career. New music, new tours, acting, going to the East Coast ( 😉 ), that kind of thing. As far as personally, maybe he’s thinking of going for a new hair style 🙂 🙂 (I like what he has!!) David’s personal life is one that we only get to see what he wants us to see and, as it happens.

Good question Ray. I agree with Tawna about how he is working his career. I know his new album is coming out soon and since he decided to stay in music I don’t think anything will slow him down. Personnally, I always think about him dating and I’m sure he will keep that low key! His hair style, I’m not so happy about. In Mesa, it was so short on one side and the back when the light hit it it looked bald. No wasn’t happy at all. It was longer on one side and the top. Nope…maybe it was a bad cut from the stylist…but not for me. He has beautiful hair so I like to see hair not bald spots! 🙂 jmo

Jans, Say Me live was beautiful. I’m curious about the recorded. So far I’ve loved the recorded versions he’s released. They are capturing his voice front and center, love that.
So as we wait for some contact I’m getting much done haha

The instant pot cooker looks interesting. A very good improvement on the pressure cooker! I’ll have to keep an eye on it.
David and the fish…not enough to know what it was all about. I had a pet fish once, way back, and it jumped out of it’s bowl and when I came home from work it was dead. 😦 Never had another one.
We got 3 inches of snow and it’s frigid cold here. 0 with -10 wind chill… Ugh, I hate winter. I just try to stay in as much as possible as it usually doesn’t last a long time.
Guess January is going to be real slow on the music scene. They say it’s the slowest month for them to start getting caught up from the holidays, I guess. Still waiting on that promised cd from David. 🙂

Checking out the pot. I use a crock pot almost daily and this pot seems to do so much more. Abrra keep us posted on the results.

Yes, January seems to be vacation month for most musicians. Though Ed Sheran dropped two singles. I listened trying to be the most objective, no. It’s his name now that makes the songs shoot to the top. All of David’s new songs are much better, lyrically and musically. I won’t even attempt to compare the vocals 😉

Yes, Dja, it’s hard for me to listen to any other singers when they aren’t near as good as David. Most I won’t listen to at all! David is second to none! When will some people wake up?? LOL I’ve been asking that for about 9 yrs now. But as long as he keeps making music, I will listen, at least he is there for us Archiefans! ♥

I made Beef and Broccoli with the pressure cooker setting. It took 15 min to cook the stew beef and seasoning broth. I microwaved the broccoli for 5 min and tossed it in the pot when the meat was done so it could soak in the broth. Delish ! Today I am using the crock pot setting. Boneless, skinned chicken thighs with aromatic veggies. I bought a tempered glass lid for this purpose (from the same company). I set the time to 6 hours.
There is a learning curve for this appliance as you have to remove and clean then replace the seal under the lid and understand the 3 ways to release the pressure when it’s done. I didn’t have a problem. There is a tutorial.
I plan to try this one next. I follow foodunderpressure on Intagram.

My wish for the new year is for David to release his cd and have a concert tour all over the USA! So every one can see him in live and in person! “You have to have a dream to have a dream come true”….from the film “South Pacific”!

Been feeling under the weather, but things are going better now.
My daughter came up from St George and I gave her David’s cd with The Prayer and My Little Prayer to listen to on her drive home. She said all that praying was just what she needed while trying to find the road in the midst of all the fog, This is the daughter who went with me to see David for her first time at Tuacahn this year. Makes me smile to hear her talking David.

Dayzee, I gave my daughter that cd and asked her to take 4 minutes out of her schedule (It’s a crazy one) and listen to it. She texted me back when she got it and reminded me that I had sent her the download of it and that they listen to it all the time. It made me happy.

When out West, I made a list of all the friends I wanted to give the little cd to and bought 16 of them. I miscounted cause I have 1 left and 3 more friends to give to. They were great “stocking stuffers” and my friends and relatives loved them. Any little thing to help David out… 🙂

Dhai’s video at #17 is a great example of the difference in a stage with David and a stage without David. We watched Gracie the two previous nights singing the song, then on Saturday out came David and our world tilted and the music blossomed onto a whole nother level.
Dja and I had a friendly argument about which new song we liked best. She choosing Say Me and I’m Ready being my pick. I really loved them both and appreciate the words to Say Me printed here.
Does anyone else get the feeling Jan is hoping for a new cd release?

One thing I enjoyed about seeing David on stage with Gracie is her guitar player’s face (how come I can’t remember his name?) in a huge smile as he watched them singing together. I get the impression he kinda liked it also. 🙂
