Three concerts and the release of “Numb” all in one week! Can we collectively scream “Yayyyyy!” Haha Been waiting for something, anything new from David. Hearing his voice on new material is like unwrapping a big box of chocolates. Warm, exciting and delicious.
Amazon is offering David’s single “Numb” as a pre-order purchase on November 4th. Have you heard the snippet yet? His voice is so crisp and beautiful and is it just me or do I detect a little Southern accent like a Nashville influence in his voice?

Archie Music, the guy has his own label and will own his music. I like it very much.
Interesting read about Prince and owning his music. I wonder if David is looking to the pioneers to model after in order to do his own thing. So far so good even though we need to be patient 🙂

Dja, pre-ordered and let some friends know and they’re excited!! So David, indeed, has his own label then? Just when I couldn’t get any more impressed with him, he surprises me. Very impressive. Very impressive :). I didn’t get to read the Prince article due to other things, maybe another day I will but based on the quotes shared, I think some of us don’t give David enough credit. Or, should start to. Yeah, it’s been rough being patient for a lot of us…but this fella is still worth our time.
As I’ve been saying since yesterday, let the fun begin. Woo woo!!

Hi all! I’m very sad to say, but I cannot go to David’s concert on Nov 4th! Dang-it! This decision was a tough one but I know I made the best choice making this decision!

Abrra, I’ve heard David use that phrase “gives
Me feels” about Noteworthy(?) from BYU and something similar about that blonde country singer who wore blindingly yellow outfits. I think it’s reserved for attractive young ladies maybe. I forget that he’s a young man sometimes. Very talented, but just a young man, not Jesus, lol.

I loved the first puzzle. And I love Tawna’s complaint because she got us another puzzle. Haha. Thanks Abrra. A win/win for me. This morning I put the first puzzle together and was thinking when I do the next puzzle I will have seen 3 David concerts and have spent an afternoon lunching with David people and also have a new Numb on my phone. Now here I am doing another puzzle and still have all that to look forward to.
The artwork for Numb with David looking like he can see forever is haunting. If that were on a CD we could carry it with us everywhere. Miss the pics and words we used to get. Remember the first one? Where David tried to thank every one he ever met?

willy_pilly01@thecrazylifeofb my cousin just got back from his mission and there was a party at his house welcoming him back home, and his mom, my aunt, is getting married to this guy, and the guy she’s marrying is from Tennessee, which is where David archuleta lives and David knows the guy my aunt is marrying, and he came into town for some concerts and stuff, and heard the guy my aunt is marrying was in town, so he went to visit him. That’s a long explanation lol but yeah

What a sweet pic, Abrra. Tuacahn seemed so far away then bam! Ah, I’m not ready! Manic packing tomorrow. But luckily St. George is a very nice town where you can buy anything u might have forgotten. I’m so excited to be listening to David’s voice live and seeing all the fans!
I imagine it’s very draining to interact with millions of fans however adoring, especially for an introvert. I always try to remember that he is one star for me but I’m just one of millions for him. I respect that he needs to save some of his energy for creative endeavors and personal life.
having said that, it would be nice to get a little shout out to devoted fans who travel to see him because we love him and his music so much. I think it’s okay to lie a bit sometimes and say “I love you too” back at fans. 😁
Anyway, I’m grateful for his unique and amazing voice, talent, cuteness and existence!

All packed up and heading out the door. Taking some extra time to spend with family in St. George and Las Vegas.
My granddaughter was in the hospital this past week and I wasn’t sure I would make this trip, but yesterday she was so improved she is going home today. So good to be heading out and knowing she is doing well.
Looks like we got our wish for warmer weather than in 2015. Taking my parka anyway.

You take care and be a cautious driver! I’m sorry your sweet granddaughter has been in the hospital. 😦 It’s good to know that she’s improved and going home. That’s always a relief! It turns out that it’s a very good thing I followed the promptings that I had to not purchase tickets for St. George this year. I’d be one of those trying to pass on my tickets. My hubby formed a massive blood clot (from his hip to the top of his calf) in his leg and can’t travel. It was scary there for a few days, but he is on the other side of down now and doing well — just has to take it easy. #life #age #notforsissies
I’m getting anxious to hear the reports AND the music as it gets started tomorrow. This new chapter in the book of Mr. Archuleta should prove exciting!!

Juleelynn, according to comments on FOD there are 60 tickets left for Friday so you might be able to still go!! If I lived near Utah I would happily take the seats for Saturday, but…not happening XP too far away.

Dayzee, I’m sorry to hear about your granddaughter but I’m glad she’s doing better! Tawna, what a scare! I’m glad that he’s on the mend.
I’m relaxing at hotel. It’s nice to be able to have room temp to 80 degrees, nice and toasty – it would drive my boys crazy!
Drive was not bad. I made stops every 2hrs and did jumping jacks and stretches. i got a few weird looks but my knees were sore last year from lack of stretching.
I just noticed that the tix I purchased from someone else have herr name printed on them. Is that ok? I don’t remember whether they checked tix w photo ID last year.

Jenny, they didn’t check photo ID last year, and when I was there this summer for some plays, they didn’t check them either. They just scan that barcode and move you on in. Have so much fun!!! Can’t wait to read/see how it was! (where did you drive from?)

Thank you! I’m so excited! I drove from SoCal, almost 6 hr drive.
I tried to pass three huge trucks by moving in middle lane when middle truck moved up faster and almost got crushed when the truck in the left lane decided to make a sudden lane change. I did almost a parallel glide! Listening to David I believe helped me make that life saving move in a calm manner.
Funny thing is that a guy behind me was upset w me I caused him to slow down by not dying! I actually waved my arm to apologize!

Angelofdja, you can call the venues box office and let them know you’re not attending and giving the tickets to Juleelynn and she can pick them up there. I picked up a ticket that way in Arizona. You can also email them to her. I hope it works out.
