When I bought my tickets for Tuacahn I had no idea David would have a concert less than four hours from my home! So, what does an Archie do? Ha! Of course I grab some tickets for Indianapolis too! I’ve never been so excited for the month of November to arrive!

I’m going to the Las Vegas and Mesa concerts and if one comes to KC I will sure be going to that too! 🙂 MY tkt buying was great as my good friend Dayzee with the magic fingers got mine at the same time as hers! My hassle was getting the air fare to agree with me! 🙂 But it finally came out ok.

Me too, Bluesky! I don’t tan at all. At my last class reunion there I was on the first row showing all my whiteness! And it was August and every one else was all tan….yes, pale legs for the world! 🙂

I sent Abrra’s # to Jan. I happen to know Jan has at least 2 million pics that she has taken of David. Jan has sent me several envelopes with thousands of David pictures and one of the moon in Arizona from the Gilbert trip. Not sure how that moon caught her attention with David all around, but it was a gorgeous moon.

Dayzee, I think you’re off by one or two on those photos! LOL 🙂 My problem is that my daughter took off all of the ones on my phone and put them in my backup hard disk drive to save them. So I can’t send them from my phone unless I take a photo of them as I always developed copies of all David photos to make sure I will always have them. I have an album of photos from every concert that I went to. They might not all be the best, but they are David memories! I’m not sure how to send them to you from my computer like I do on FB where there is a camera to guide me. 🙂

Fenfan, all I know is that those casinos are always freezing cold. So he probably isn’t too hot. 🙂 Can’t help remembering him wearing that jacket in Manila and he was sweating so much. He must be able to take the heat well. That, and he has a will of iron! 🙂

It took two attempts, frozen pages, creating a new account, and finally filling in a whole new form, with different tickets, and a different email. *_*

I found the page and my account at about 8:54 and hung around until 8:58 when I decided to give it a trial run …. it let me in and I had 3 tickets for Saturday scored before the clock hit 9:02. I was amazed. I just checked, and the seats are very limited at this point. Good fortune was on my side this morning. I wasn’t even aware that today was the day until a friend texted me on her way to work and asked me to get her one when I got mine. That’s when my panic button was pushed! 😀 I’ll be watching for you!!!!!!!!! I don’t have your phone # or I’d text you.

I just tried 3 times to post an IG video of the surf on NC coastline. Sometimes the URL won’t embed.
Up my way things could get serious on Saturday. It all depends on how close to the coastline that Matthew comes. Many times Long Island in NY is a buffer for us and the hurricane heads off to the east over the ocean. The one thing that shuts them down fast is making landfall.

All that sounds great until the power goes out. We have electric pump for our well water. So, no power=no water. Luckily the wading pool in back yard is still full of water to use for toilet flushes.

We used to have an electric pump for our city water because we live on a hill and had to pump the water up from the road…. at some point the city decided that since there were water lines up above us for the subdivison up there, they would let us hook on so the water would come down. Sometimes federal, state, and city governments just make me scratch my head in wonder. So yeah, I feel your pain with the water situation. 😦

Everyone PLEASE stay safe if you’re in the path of Matthew. Good news is Mid Atlantic and Southern New England will be OK according to local news.
But if you’re down south I pray you evacuate and get out cos this is not a storm to mess with, category 4 again.
I thank God I didn’t apply for that writing residency in South Carolina for the fall/winter session I would have had to evacuate myself if I was down there right now.

When I was a child the water in our neighborhood came only from wells. Every one else had pumps, but we had the only flowing well and often neighbors would have a need to use our water. The fact that our water was very orange in color did not bother my father since it was a free gift of nature.
I have been sewing Halloween costumes while listening to Christmas songs from David. I was thinking I should find something to be thankful for to complete the fall seasons. I did not need to look very far. Bat costume was for Crew, cutest 2-year-old ever. Witch for Shannon who helps me with absolutely everything. Then I checked that long list of music from David. Just a few years ago my granddaughter gathered up the 7 or 8 songs she could find from David and burned me a CD before they were available from the now extinct Virgin store. Wow! Times have changed. That fellow has been busy!
Also way grateful for all you people who make this a beautiful place to visit.

My make-a-friend key chain is still working. I was buying a bunch of stuff at the fabric store and the clerk’s eyes opened wide upon spying David’s pic. “Oh,” she says, “David Arculeta! I love him.” She grabbed my phone to check out the wallpaper and then brought up a bunch of coupons that were on my phone. As she is talking about meeting David at a book signing and attending several concerts, she is clicking on all those coupons I didn’t even know I had. The final tally on my bill was amazing. Thank you David.

Hello all!!!! My sibs rotate weekends for mom care and this was my weekend! We try to make it fun for her so I scheduled mother daughter mammograms! haha We get gift bags and goodies it being awareness month all and she loves getting little “regalitos” like David says :).

SB, I know what you mean about flying solo. Just my thoughts, but it has been a big effort for DA to put this new music together. We won’t know his new focus or sound until we hear it. I was thinking the other day that if it were me, I would kind of feel like I needed to have something bigger to offer the fans before I pushed further out.
We have been listening to mostly familiar music for the last while. We love whatever he sings. I know that. But I think he wants to be able to offer more. He has a generous heart and I think it is more in play right now than may be apparent at first glance.
I believe he cares deeply about all his fans where ever they may be.
I wish I could take you all with me when I go in November. Be safe where ever you are, and in all your travels.

Bluesky, thanks, you are so sweet…you sure make me feel special! ♥ I think you are right about his new music. We might be really surprised. I will love it no matter cause I love what ever he sings…like you said. I’ll be thinking of you and everyone else that goes in Nov. but I do get to see him in Dec. He is so special and has really special fans.
Every week I think this will be the week of new music and then nope…not this week! 🙂
