Some much-welcomed news today for fans of David Archuleta! He has announced from his Nashville Archu-Cave that he will be doing a new photo shoot in support of his new songs! It seems that the long wait just might be over for fans who are craving new music.
After extensive study of the Archuleta IG post, I spotted that the film was shot backwards. This is what happens when a video is shot with the front facing iPhone camera. What you say? We can’t have that! I will not let this go unchallenged. It must be corrected and I hopped on the case immediately.
At first look I thought that his face looked different in the still shot before running the film. As the video played I heard the great news of the photo shoot, but I also noticed his chocolate chip mole had slid to the opposite side of his neck! What?
How can this be?
I went into my magic tool box, pulled out my “video-flipping” device and flipped that thing right to left. Now we have everything working as intended with the great smile he gives us and the mole properly back at its home base.

I have now put the Archuleta world back on its axis!

Last night I dreamed of David. It was one of those long, meandering dreams and we were all at some kind of get together and a bunch of presents were sent in and we were taking our pick of what we wanted. Crazy just like most dreams are. I think I got it from seeing David’s video from the concert….. 🙂

Ray, many thanks for your good words… and will keep you and your wife in my prayers. I worked with alzheimer’s for 12 years and you have my empathy. It is a very debilitatiing
disease and it takes a person with a lot of love and compassion to be able to cope with it. Kudos to you, it is very hard. Love it that she still knows David. That would be the magic that makes it easier. 🙂

FYI I know he did this latest IG the same way. My only defense is to copy it and flip the video for my files. Not going to have him backwards on my computer.

Hey!! I see I have lots of catching up to do. Went on a 2 week drive with my granddaughter. I set my phone down at a gas station and someone took it. For music I was left with 3 cd’s, Forevermore, Begin and Christmas From the Heart. Luckily they featured my favorite singer.

Oh Abrra thank you so much!! I appreciate that 🙂 I just wish more people read it though…doesn’t seem to be getting much in comments etc. That’s why I wondered if I did something wrong cos that’s not happening. But on LinkedIn it got some views which was a surprise. Then again, I’m still new to it and need to work on being more consistent with my posts and maybe replying when I do get a comment haha. But I LOVE doing it it’s been so helpful with writing again in general too after I lost my confidence late last year.
I have too. Writing has always been my sacred space like music is for David haha (didn’t forget to put my two guest blogs from here under Publications haha). Sometimes even a single sentence jumps out at you too. I joke to my best friend “the books are talking to me again” when that happens LOL. I loved when you said this: “Art is a conversation between the artist and those who view, read or listen.” Looks like David and I are in good company with that message I remember when he said that in his book. I confess, would be an honor one day, God-Willing haha if David does another memoir if he needs a co-writer he can hire me I’d make sure he’s represented well :).
I am! I’ve been entering writing contests submitting short stories and taking a online course right now by this program called Masterclass where you’re taught by the legends in a field. James Patterson is doing the writing one 😀 it’s pretty cool. I’m getting there slowly but steady while also trying to find a job XP Haha I can’t wait for that day!! Been looking at novellas as an option just have to see what happens.

Without going into all the details………if you had Candy Jar treats in your old phone, all that will be transferred to your new phone when you granddaughter restores from your iTunes backup. This is why I stress to all that it’s best if you do updates and then backup (sync) your iPhone with iTunes. Everything will be waiting there for you when you need it.

This last month has been full of big things. Late July hubby had some bad pain. Mid August was surgery and he is now recovering well. This is our “Star Wars” tale of triumph.
Once there was a planet-body called Alderan, where lived a set of kidney twins. One turned to the dark side, became a Darth Vader wannabe and created a Death Star. (Any tumor that weighs in at ten pounds is a Death Star in my book!). Enter the brave Dr Han Fisher with his trusty Wookie anesthesiologist and two droids.
The Death Star has been destroyed. The planet is saved. For now, no sequel is planned, although we are all on close watch for any escaped storm troopers. Ewoks will be called upon if needed.
May all your stories end as well as ours did this time.

You do what your heart tells you. Personally, I stay out of any of his family social media. It’s not something I want to be involved with. Long ago there was some friction over family and fans. But that was not something that came from David.

So happy just to be a David fan today. Feeling so lucky that I was somehow drawn to watch AI while he was there. So lucky that I happened to have a free evening in Las Vegas and made a last minute decision to see the AI tour. For me he was the entire tour. Those on stage before and after David were just peripheral. From the first time I saw him in person I knew he would make a difference in my life. I hitched my wagon to a true star. When I googled the north star, Polaris, I read ” Spotting the North Star – and in that way knowing the direction north – has gladdened the heart of many a lost traveler.” I know, pretty schmaltzy for me. But I liked it.
And did you notice he looked amazing when he said “amazing” in the Louisiana flood instagram? Working hard, but still glowing, not sweating.

You have a unique ability to connect your heart with the hearts of those who are privileged to hear your voice.
