Hello Sirs.
I arrived today at noon. I am very tired from my trip, we had a stop in Atlanta, but I’m in my house.
In St. George I met many fans who only knew online. I touched them and told them “you’re a real person,” LOL.
I know you are used to this word, but David exceeded all my expectations. The first night I was alone at the top, looked like a robot, I was mesmerized. But on the second night, I was sitting next to Dj fan, and her mother. I sing, dance, shout, but the most important is that I met Lupe, and I can give her the chocolates that I had bought for David. Dj fan has lynx eyes, she saw Lupe amid the crowd.
OK . That’s all part of the story I’ll start writing tonight.
Now I understand why I’m here.

Seven years ago today David’s debut album was released! I remember that day well. I smoked my last cigarette on that day! What can I say…much has changed since then! One thing that hasn’t wavered is my support and appreciation for David. His VOICE and his humble self are the reason for that!
God Bless each and every Veteran and those still serving for their service to our Country. I am forever grateful!

Here’s something interesting. It’s from a friend of mine… also a David fan… that she came up with today.
‘I just happened to be looking on Wikipedia and ran across some interesting facts about one of the greatest lyricist of all time Mr Bob Dylan. This is what caught my eye about his early years.
“In the spring of 1965, after returning from the tour of England documented in the film Dont Look Back, Dylan was unhappy with the public’s expectations of him, as well as the direction his career was taking, and seriously considered
(((quitting the music business. ))))
In a 1966 Playboy interview, he described his dissatisfaction: “Last spring, I guess I was going to quit singing. I was very drained, and the way things were going, it was a very draggy situation … But ‘Like a Rolling Stone’ changed it all. I mean it was something that I myself could dig. It’s very tiring having other people tell you how much they dig you if you yourself don’t dig you.”
Can you even imagine the great songs we would be missing if Dylan had quit.
Well David is in great company, and from David WE AIN’T SEEN NUTTIN YET. The best is yet to come. Y’all!’
So, it looks like there are about 600 tickets that have sold in Texas.
TOfan has a couple of videos from Tuacahn on SnowAnglz that have some nice audio.
Windish Agency has added 2 more venues to the list of upcoming concerts. They are both in Utah in March. These towns are small-medium in size. Ephraim is a college town. I’ve been in the auditorium in Richfield and it’s pretty nice. Not huge but nice. He is certainly covering the landscape of Utah.

Dylan spent a long time away after he was criticized by fans for “going electric” at the Newport Jazz Festival. He shut himself away in a house in upstate NY to think and write. I’m not positive, but I think that was one of the songs that came out of his reclusive period.

So excited for the Midland concert. Even though I cannot attend it makes me happy that David will be on stage and entertaining all those people lucky enough to be there. So glad for every one who is going. Can’t wait for recaps.
Jan and I were driving on that same freeway shown at #1 and we did see the veteran and the flag. Than might even be the back of my car in the pic.
Jan will be leaving Salt Lake after this weekend to return to K.C. On Saturday, 11/14, at 1:00 we will have lunch at Tucci’s, 515 South 700 East (across from Trolley Square) Jan would love to have anyone who could make it join us. Please come and we will talk some David. 🙂

Gladys, good to know you are safely home. I admire your determination to overcome anything that gets between you and David. Thanks again for the times you went to Chile and gave us all an insight into David’s life as a missionary. I remember how excited we were in Unplugged waiting for Gladys to report on David’s performances.
It is so fun to have Jan in my home. Imagine sharing space for a couple of weeks with someone as David crazy as yourself. Good times. I hope some of you will be able to join us for lunch on Saturday. Bluesky has promised to come and perhaps she will expound on the Luz De Las Naciones she attended at the Conference Center.
Interesting to think back on Bob Dylan and his anxieties in the music business. I love David as he is today. I think he is enjoying his time on stage again. And he is allowing us to shout “I love you David”

Good article from a local Texas publication:
Singer David Archuleta redefines his music outlook
“In 2012, Archuleta left for South America for a missionary trip for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon his return in 2014, there was speculation if he’d return to music. He put that to rest with a number of live dates, including his concert tonight at the Wagner Noel.
“Coming back to a live show, I was almost wondering if I want to do this,” he said. “I didn’t know if I did. Now I want people to come out but I want them to feel fulfilled with something.”
This lends to his new attitude toward music. After his mission, something changed in Archuleta. Before he followed the formulaic approach to being a pop star. Now, he’s redefining his career……”

Sounds like a wonderful night! So happy for all those that were able to attend! Can’t wait to hear the recaps!
A belated thanks to Abbra for trying to help me connect with other fans at the Tuacahn show. Sadly, I missed the fan luncheon, but was able to connect with Dayzee and Jan at the concert. It was wonderful talking with them and finally putting a few faces with names. I so wished I could have met more of you–but I guess that just means more concerts to go to!
As you have all heard, the night was amazing and David was better than ever. My teenage daughter, who has perfected the subtle eye-roll when it comes to my admiration of David and his music, was practically gushing throughout the night. She would turn to me every few minutes with her mouth wide open when he would hit those glory notes. She jumped up and danced and sang with every possible opportunity. She actually said to me as we were leaving the venue, “I know this sounds weird, but he actually made me want to be a better person.”
I knew he was amazing live, but it was fun to share that with my daughter. I don’t know if it was not hearing him for a while, but he sounded even better than I remember. It’s so exciting to see him performing again! You can tell he truly loves it.

Love that last pic on #38 with the 97.9 logo. David looks so contented and he makes me think his life is wonderful and my life can also be wonderful as long as I listen to him. Loved the girl who said she liked hearing him talk as much as hearing him sing. His messages reach every age.
Loved Kaycee’s daughter realizing that David can make a difference in her life. So good to meet Kaycee. That miracle was accomplished with our cell phones. Without David, I probably wouldn’t know what a ringtone was. Thanks to Abrra for reaching out.
Once again, Shelley comes through and gives me what I want. I have to send her a TY after every show.
It was so great to know there were so many fans finally able to see him in Midland after hanging on for years without an “in person” sighting. You are such terrific fans. “Hang on, hang on” to those still hoping for a concert near you.
I bought my tickets for Layton over the phone last week. I had no confirmation and there was no charge on my credit card, so I talked Jan into driving up to Layton will call to pick up my tickets. Oooops! The office was closed on Veteran’s Day.
All we got was a pic of David in the window. So once again I was dragging poor Jan to Layton. She has been cooped up on the road with me every day for a week now, bless her heart. This time the office was open, but we learned the orders would not be processed until next week. She did check and the tickets are there for Bluesky and me. Whew!! You know I worry until the tickets are in my hand

Abrra, I think that the pic of DA after the show #40 is my favorite.
This was how I hoped he would be after his mission. It just took him his own sweet time to get there. I appreciate that he has done, and is doing it, in the way that works for him. What a great gift to give himself: to be true to his own journey first. I don’t see it as a selfish thing, because what he brings now is so much more than he would have ever been able to bring to his performances otherwise.
Who knows what adventures lie ahead?
Thanks so much admins, Shelley and all those who reported in and shared!!!

Adventures are coming for sure!
It sounded like an amazing night with David doing his thing, only like he can. I was having the blues wanting to be in Texas lol. That was kind of Kari to periscope Como La Flor. David sure has come along way from his for performance of that song. He’s now dancing the signature Selena moves! And as he gets more and more comfortable watch out!!!
This from 979litefm.
American Idol Season 7 runner up David Archuleta was first in the hearts of his fans Thursday night at he performed at the Wagner Noel!
David is restarting his career in music after a two year hiatus when he was away on a mission trip in Chile. Fans were not disappointed as David was an excellent voice throughout the show.
The theater was electric as women of all ages responded with enthusiastic applause and screams is David belted out his hits, familiar ballads and some of the new songs he’s written after returning from his mission trip.
In between songs, David shared his heart concerning the music business, fame and the price it exacts. The performance didn’t feel like it was taking place in the huge Wagner Noel Center, but instead it felt as if it was in more of an intimate setting, with David pouring out his heart to his fans on his concerns about where his career was taking him, the stress of trying to be a ‘people pleaser’ and the decision to put everything on hold for two years while he was gone on the mission trip.
David’s voice was amazing as he serenaded his fans with his own hits and others from ‘The Tarzan Soundtrack’, U2, R.E.M. and several new originals that will be released in early 2016. The first of these will be a song called, ‘NUMB’. Archuleta says it was a culmination of all the stress and worry about his career, family and fan pressures and ultimately choosing to follow his own heart.
Look for ‘Numb’ to be released in January 2016.

He gets to feel more comfortable performing for fans, it helps him raise money for touring around the U.S., and it gives him time to complete new material , which will be good for the shows. I don’t even know where to start! So happy that I got to go & see David in concert again at last! It was worth all the saving & preparation to get there! He is so confident & GORGEOUS!!! His voice was so beautiful especially in Don’t Give Up & in all the upbeat songs it was impossible for us not to stand up, dance & clap our hands so hard that they stung. I couldn’t take my eyes off him & smiled non-stop. He was mesmerizing & I loved how open he was about the struggles he’d been through. Of course, I’d heard what he had to say before from watching the videos but it was lovely to be there to experience it. Also, it was obvious that he was enjoying himself & I could just see how happy he was when the crowd sang along with him & knew every word. He gave of himself 100% & was visibly exhausted afterwards. At the end he had a huge smile on his face & bowed to everyone before saying “God bless”, smiling some more & running off the stage. I think he definitely felt the love that we have for him. I was left feeling uplifted & inspired to apply some of the things he said to my life. I had a wonderful time afterwards with Sky & Terry! They are such nice “David like” people & give the best hugs! An experience I will always treasure!

Yes, Funfee. there’s nothing like hearing everything David has to say and sing ‘live’… even if we’ve heard it on a million YouTube videos! 🙂 I’m so glad you were there!
I was at a fun ‘fan’ lunch today in SLC with Dayzee, Bluesky, Jans11, Oddity, and Pam. We talked for over 2 hours about all things David! 🙂 I think the conclusion that we came to is that we’re happy David is back… happy that David has done his comeback his way…. happy that David is happy…. and happy that we are on the verge of new music!! I’d say we were a pretty happy group today. 🙂
My tummy, however, is very unhappy with the amount of spaghetti & meatballs that I put into it – dang it was good! 😀

Relieved to hear from Sky. I was afraid she was still at Wagner Noel trying to make her way down off that David cloud. But who wants to come down anyway? Can’t wait for her to attempt to consolidate her thoughts. She has spent some time with the “musical magician-doctor” she speaks of in the upper left hand corner of this site. Sometimes his power is overwhelming.
Funfee, what a great description of your night with David and friends. I am so happy so many fans were able to see that performance. ” I couldn’t take my eyes off him & smiled non-stop.” Exactly my reaction to every David appearance.
I had a great time with some great fans today. So grateful to everyone who came. Love to gather with such nice people and talk us some David.
Jan & I leave for St. George tomorrow. We were thinking how much more fun it was going to St. George last week. But wherever David has been I always find a little “magic David dust” that makes me happy. Memories are awesome. 🙂
