I juste bought two tickets to the Provo concert on Oct. 8 2015. I have no idea why. I have no one to go with me. (not exactly true, one of my sons would go with me I am sure, if I were to ask it of them. ^_^)

This is so fun for David! It’s great to see him having fun. He’s always been quite the tourist though (who would think to go to a Potato Museum). But, I think he should know that he is experiencing the two countries that are at the TOP of my bucket list and I may have just a little bit of envy coursing through my veins. I can’t wait to see what the NZ TOFW brings to us. Hopefully there will be another Shanny in the audience! 🙂

Bluesky, I am going to BYU on Thursday by myself so it would be great to meet up. My seat is section 10, row 9, seat 23. whereever that is.
The mailman brought me a ticket for Arizona today. Funny how fingers shake when something David arrives. That folder of tickets in my closet is getting pretty heavy. Won’t be long until they move from my closet to the David wall.

DA has entered a new phase in his career: karaoke. Just a few friends getting together with some sound tracks. No fuss. No entourage.
Cept he is alone on a huge stage. With thousands watching. Probably taped.
Isn’t it crazy that he appears so comfortable that it looks just as if he were at home with a few friends?
What a change from almost a year ago when he performed at that Christmas concert. I am so very happy for him. What an amazingly wonderful way for him to ease into the nest of floorboards, electrical attachments, cords, curtains, lights, people, and sounds that is, we hope, his second home.
We plan on coming to visit. Hope he dosent mind if we snap some home movies.

Speaking of best…Angels was my best song at the AI concert. Way back in August, 2008 where I met him the first time and any songs from that concert never fails to produce goosies! They bring back so many good memories and I never knew then the ride David was going to take us on! So far, so good!! 🙂

I feel like I’ve just spent a wonderful week in Australia & NZ, THX to Shanny’s write-up & all the posts here and elsewhere. I don’t have adequate words to express how impressed I’ve felt by what David shared at the TOFW events, with his words & voice…..amazing, in all ways!!!!! Here is how David affected Sandra Turley……
Sandra Turley: @tofw_timeoutforwomen @davidarchie sharing testimony in song and in word alongside this great young man has been nothing short of a blessing this past week. I have learned as much from his calm silence as I have from his powerful voice. Her last sentence is a perfect description of David…..I just love what she said!!!!!

Oh, I wanted to tell you that I had a dream about David. We were looking at houses and one had a big square of wood like a window up in front of the roof. I told him that we could place his photo there and he didn’t want to so I told him ok that I didn’t want to do something he didn’t like. So we hugged and the dream faded out and that was it! Just stupid like most dreams….. 🙂 Have no idea where it come from…… 🙂

While waiting in hopes for new videos from David’s performances in NZ, I watched the videos from Australia again. He is just wonderful! His voice has matured and there’s also a new maturity reflected in his stage presence. The shyness has slowly faded; the boy has grown into a man!
You know something, no matter how you slice it, no matter how much time passes and what has gone on, his voice prevails as the most beautiful sound I have ever heard.
Isabella, my four year-old granddaughter, heard me playing “Glorious” and ran over to ask what song it is. I showed David singing it onstage and she said “I like him!” LOL That says it all for me! haha

Yes, kids say the darndest things! One of my little great grandson’s loved riding in the car with his grandma listening to David. And when he walked in my house and I had David on, he would say “you got David on, I like him!” They are so smart! 🙂

Smart kids I tell you. I was listening to on of my favorites on The Voice, Chris Jamison, and though he was my favorite, I don’t have a clue what he’s up to but his video came up on youtube and I listened, nope, it just doesn’t check all the boxes and I’m only speaking about the “voice” lol David’s voice is like Bebe says “You know something, no matter how you slice it, no matter how much time passes and what has gone on, his voice prevails as the most beautiful sound I have ever heard.”

This was the only song that would calm and help my son to go to sleep. He had a lot of trouble sleeping and the song had to be sung while carrying him horizontally in my arms (like a cradle), thumping him on the back with each step and beat, and walking around the room. Everyone in the house knew all the verses and could help. I have four sons. The one that needed this song was Joey. So I sang “… Come, come ye saints, no toil nor labor fear, but with Joey, wend your way…”
Fond memories.
DA sings it most like I hear it in my head. Change-ups, and all. Good going DA! ^_^

Maybe…. But I think it is because beyond all of that, he is more than a singer or a celebrity or a public figure or an oddity: and they know that. Meeting DA becomes something to be able to say you have done.
He would n.e.v.e.r want it to be that way. That is part of what makes it so.
