I can’t believe it! David was sooooo close to where I live, 10 minutes away! Hubby and I actually discussed going! But I have two granddaughters in allstar state softball championship and couldn’t go. Maybe next year. 😄
This is a popular event with lots of food, all kinds! Great for someone who is always hungry! lol

Well, we know David is eating and making music. What more could we ask for? Oh, to hear some of that music, you say? I agree with you!!!!
I did hear “He Showed Me How” on my Sunday radio station yesterday! Stopped me dead in my tracks, and I stayed right there until the song was finished. He sounds so beautiful.
Why do I laugh when I see David’s ‘shorts outfits’? Honestly, I love the guy, but where does he come up with these combinations!? I used to dress my kids in Garanimals clothes so they could match the little animals and know that they were going to look somewhat put together when they left the house. haha But, a goofy outfit photo is better than no photo. Right?!
You’ll notice the salad on the side of the piano? Must still be full from the food fest!:)

Love Joe Cruz’s hashtags; #americanidol, #amazingsinger. I think it’s so funny that people refuse to believe he didn’t win. To us, he won. Also, like the white socks. Can’t believe he went all those years without wearing shorts, and now he wears them all the time. Loosened up a bit. Good for him. Can’t wait to hear the music. If he’s still writing songs, I guess it will be a while before the album comes out. Maybe in Sept., my birthday month.

Watching Sawyer Fredricks on Periscope. The concert is in Boston and seems to be sponsored by The Voice TV show.
The sound quality is perfect and the video is good too. A fan is filming him from the stage and the big screen. I sure hope that David fans will consider filming via Periscope from their phones.
I can’t say I am a fan, but I wanted to see how a concert would look and sound. He did a nice job even though I don’t know the songs. The crowd seems to give him a warm reception. Its raining on and off, very hard there.
There are about 400 viewers watching on Periscope.

I had a very pleasant surprise this morning. I usually listen to music on my iPod while on the treadmill, but this morning I decided to watch our new big screen for the morning news. Ta Da!! The first commercial to come on… the announcement for the BYU Spectacular in October, and it was announced that David Archuleta is the featured guest accompanied by—- listed the others. There he was, big as life on my brand new TV. I walked a little lighter this morning! 🙂 (I didn’t have a phone handy to take a screen shot)

Periscope is another something that I know nothing about…..
Tawna that would be the best…to see David today…full size! 🙂 I taped some of the programs that David was on and when my receiver went out and had to be replaced, there they went. I do have some videos that came with cds if I want to watch. Youtube was on Direct TV but the last I checked it was taken off. That was the best thing, to see any of David’s videos full size…Awesome! 🙂

The other day I had something I wasn’t watching on TV and heard them talking about someone’s great accomplishments. I looked over and there was a large picture of David on the wall behind the host. David was never mentioned and I have no idea what the program was. Don’t those unexpected appearances just brighten your day? Tawna, I missed the BYU ad, but hope they play it often.
Jan, when my Tivo broke down the only thing I cared about were the lost David shows,. Remember when we used to record on tapes? They were on the shelf. We could take them places. They did not disappear.
Dja, I know how you feel at missing David when he was so close to you. There are so many places he visits in my area and yet I never run into him. Probably just as well.
Abrra, I often watch unplugged. Thanks for keeping it running. You have such a wide variety showing, there is always something I like. Possibly because it is David.

David eating and skating! I would’ve loved to see those Olympic moves. We know David can skate, something he loved to do. For someone who wouldn’t wear shorts he seems to always be in them now lol A move towards not being self conscience for sure.
