A Fresh Start ~ David Archuleta

Posted by Abrra on Tuesday, June 16, 2015

I saw on Twitter that the Soul Davidian site is taking a Summer break.Β  I am using this opportunity to reinforce our resolve to keep going through the lean times. While the David-related news has gone down to almost nil, fans still want to feel the connection. That’s why we’re still here; although I will admit that there are times when it is a difficult task to maintain a fan site based on commentary, rather than news. Our primary purpose is to provide a place for fans to comment and share their take on current events in David Archuleta’s career.

David was an unknown singer who virtually dropped from the television screen into our hearts. Back in the post American Idol days we had so much to discover about him and his music. Some would say we got too close to that young man who was so eager to share many facets of his life with fans. We were just as eager to find out every minute detail of his day, both personal and career-related.

And then he announced that he was going on a mission for his church.

At that time a few fan sites dropped out. Some said it was out of respect for David’s request for privacy during that time. What followed on the sites left standing was an uncertainty about what we could say or publish about his mission activity. The final shakeout was that pictures or videos were not allowed unless they were of public appearances.

And so the drought began.

Through this time we navigated our way along choppy waters of fans who agreed to disagree on what was appropriate to talk about in relation to his mission experience. We became aware that David was a celebrity even as an Elder in Chile. His brother Elders wrote in their personal blogs about the respect they had for him both as a missionary and as a singer. We were hungry for any news, if only to know that David was happy with his experience. The videos from Chile of Christmas concerts sustained the fan base over the two years. Counting down the days until his return was something that kept us motivated to stay on the course.

But the payoff upon his return to Utah was not what most had anticipated. Realizing that there is a period of adjustment for returning missionaries, patience became a word we used often. Other than a few seconds of video from the airport, there was silence. So much silence that some frustrated fans took to Twitter in order to force David out to speak about what he was planning next. In response, David posted this video on his You Tube channel:

This is not the David Archuleta, the boy, we knew. This is a man who tells us he has gained his life back on his terms. He will now take the time to make music at his pace, without pressure to get it done fast and not be to his liking. It has been over a year since we got a glimpse of the man who is David Archuleta.

“I am still trying to unravel all of the knots that have been in my brain. I was so overwhelmed last time I was in the spotlight in front of all of you. I felt like I lost myself as I got caught up in trying to please everyone, because I disregarded what I cared about–what I thought.

It’s nice not having to keep trying to figure out how be something that I am not so that everyone will like whatever that is. I have come to realize that no matter what you will never make everybody happy, but you can make the most lasting impact on being yourself, and most of all out of all the people it will impact you are the one who is most impacted for the better. For the longest time, I tried to keep it on the down-low of who and how I really was because β€œI must not be likeable”, but it feels nice to just be who I am and live according to what has always been most important to me.” ~ David Archuleta

“What I am basically trying to say is I need silence in order to function. My quiet time is valuable to me. Everyone keeps asking me how things are in Nashville. I say β€œIt’s really nice. It’s quiet.” Part of this is because I have decided to make this quiet time for me, but also this town is a place where I feel peace.” ~ David Archuleta

It seems that everything about the past has changed with respect to public performances and his participation on social media. This is what we can expect from David Archuleta going forward. The pace of his career will be more of a balance between his desire to have a personal life and his devotion to his craft. This is, in a sense, a fresh start for a new self-confident David who knows who he is and where he is going.

From DA, “you can make the most lasting impact on being yourself, and most of all out of all the people it will impact you are the one who is most impacted for the better. ”

From Abrra, “This is what we can expect from David Archuleta going forward.”

I agree, Abrra. And like you, what I would miss if the site went down is the companionship of the posters, the other fans. Because it seems to me, that we are fans of the experience as much as the music. And our communications, anxieties, wonderings, gratitude, and awe are part of that experience.

I have never followed a singer or celebrity online like this. And there are several that I keep up with. DA is different because our experience of him is different.

It is wonderful to have him doing (as he did before) so many performances, so many communications. That makes the work of a site kind of the result of his many doings. (Not to mean that it is no work!!) As he goes forward in a different vein, it changes the dynamic of the site and how we interact with each other.

I am here as long as the site can be maintained. It is because of you and the others who post that I am here. It has always been that way for me.

It seems to be part of the essence of DA that he just naturally (although it is not necessarily HIS gig) that makes people want to connect and bond. His bonding with us will be one of music. It has always been that way, and to me, this is what he is saying, in part: that that bonding, that music, is important enough to make it also the most personal experience that it can be. For him, that requires stillness and quiet as preparation.

Then, I am pretty certain, lifeboats will need to be manned. He will not hold anything back. He will give until his brain and heart are practically turned inside out. That is his nature. It will sustain him and renew him, much as this quiet has but the other side of the coin.

I think and fully expect that even he will be quite surprised at what happens, not only to us, but to him. He will reach new heights. The silence before the storm, the pause before the next heartbeat, the hollow space that finally fills with the next breath.

Thanks for the post, Abs, and everything else you and all the moderators do to keep this site going. I feel we are all fans in a unique situation. David has been called every good adjective there is and he has passed them on to us fans in a way. Not only have I followed a great singer, I have made a lot of good friends, some I’ve met and some I haven’t, yet! πŸ™‚ As David’s life has changed some, so has mine and I haven’t had the time to spend on line to check out every little thing going on, but I do check in every day to see if there might be some good news. I try and comment so this site won’t go away, because I like our unique situation!

Last night on “So You Think You Can Dance” there was a guy on there from Utah that had stopped his dancing to go on a 2 yr mission. He came back to try out and was really good. He had on a white shirt that was buttoned once and showed a lot of skin. πŸ™‚ Don’t think David will ever go that far, but here’s hoping he will loosen up some more when he goes on tour! David is such a conservative little cutie! πŸ™‚

    #thatswhywearestillhere! πŸ™‚ #alsohasthegreatestvoiceever! πŸ™‚ #neverwanttogoaway! πŸ™‚ #wouldlovetoseedaviddancelikethat! πŸ™‚ #stillwaitingforgreatthings! πŸ™‚

Abrra – We all owe you and all the admins. a debt of gratitude for keeping this site up and running. It is like an Oasis in the middle of the desert for David’s fans. Also, it helps keep us occupied and sane while we wait for the trickling stream of water to gush again.

Last week on PBS, they had a salute to the Women of Soul from the Whitehouse. Jill Scott was on it and sang “Livin My Life Like It’s Golden”. Of course, I wouldn’t have known that song if it weren’t for a certain Mr. A. It seems like every time I watch a program, whether it be singing or dancing, something pops up to remind me of the one we’re all waiting for so patiently (yeah, right). Even watching the Voice this season and rooting for young Sawyer, he sang a duet with a young girl named Noel Bybee, who is from Utah and LDS. I can’t watch anything without being reminded of him. I’m getting ready to participate in a study with the University of Louisville School of Nursing, on adult onset asthma, which I have. I was talking with the lady in charge yesterday and she mentioned that tonight she is taking her teenaged daughter to see a concert. The band is Imagine Dragons, who David has mentioned and is another band whose members went to BYU and I think are also LDS. So, of course, I had to mention David. She knew who he was, and I caught her up on his career and she gave me her email so I could send her youtube links of Glorious, He Showed Me How, and Do You Hear What I Hear. I will be meeting with her Thurs. and can’t wait to hear what she thought of the Man Version of David Archuleta. Can’t help but promote him every chance I get. I think the main difference I’ve noticed is how calm he is. He doesn’t giggle or get nervous when he speaks like he used to. Maybe it’s because he’s now calm inside, because he’s being himself and doesn’t have to worry that he might slip up and let the cat out of the bag. Being yourself is so much easier than being someone you’re not, but you think you should be. I really like the man he brought back.

Abrra, thank you, thank you. Thanks a million. Today is a day I really needed to hear you confirm that this site will go on. I was thinking how difficult (impossible) it is for you to come up with something new and fresh. Thank you for realizing we are here for each other as well as for David. This site is like a favorite room in my home. A place of good things. where I can be me πŸ™‚ So many terrific people live in this room and I am so grateful for every one. Special thanks to Dja and Bebe.

Loved Bluesky’s ” I am here as long as the site can be maintained. It is because of you and the others who post that I am here. It has always been that way for me.” And Jan’s ” I have made a lot of good friends, some I’ve met and some I haven’t, yet! πŸ™‚ As David’s life has changed some, so has mine” I feel I have been blessed to have spent time with both Bluesky and Jan and appreciate seeing their comments here tonight.

Watching the video up top I had to laugh when David said he had just finished exercising….”.well not JUST finished”. Worried about the truth in his statement. It reminded me of Abrra’s last article Knowing Your Truth. David is all about the truth and integrity. If he says he just finished exercising, then by golly he came directly from the treadmill or he will explain why not.

Angel, I loved watching David jammin’ Golden. Every song he sings becomes golden. Lynnella, everything wonderful pertains to David in some way or other. I’m thinking that might be because David is always somewhere in our heads and hearts and we are always looking for ways to bring his spirit into our lives.

Without this site I would feel lost and stranded on my own little island in the ocean. Thanks to all of ;you who reach out.

I see Tawna’s quote in the upper left corner. Captain David it is!

Thanks, Bluesky! That is one of the nicest thing that anyone has said to me! I just love all of you!! So true that LDS is like anyone else! I’ve even had to stand up for them to people that made wrong statements about them..would Google it and show them that they were wrong…learning so much myself.

Lynella, I love promoting David too. As a matter of fact when 3 sisters were here Sunday night, an older LDS lady came too and after the sisters left, she stayed til almost 1am! She was going through some personal problems and wanted someone to talk too and I was happy to oblige. She had never heard David sing, so naturally out comes the cds! πŸ™‚ She knows what he sounds like now! haha πŸ™‚

Dayzee, You are the bestest hostess! πŸ™‚ Can’t wait ti Nov! Like my grandma always told me…”you have to!” Ok…but not patiently!

It’s ironic that some has mentioned that they felt at home here just being themselves because I just read this on FB…”Freedom is being yourself without permission from anyone else”. I’m thinking that this is what David is saying.

Tawna, love your quote! So true!

Abrra, Thank You for not unplugging the e-wires. All of you admins. have made this a wonderful place to be each day.

David is being David… the way he has wanted to be for a very long time. Very methodical in what he’s doing. He’s always been that way, I think, but we didn’t necessarily see it because at the rate he was pumping things out it wasn’t obvious.

I haven’t read the other comments yet, so that will be on top of my list for to-do’s tomorrow. It’s late and my pillow is calling to me.

I want to clarify something. I was using HG’s words when I said Summer break. It was not my intention to say that Soul Davidian was shutting down. Comments are still open for those who wish to share on her site.

Bluesky, I agree that the connection is very real when we watch him perform. By the same token, he needs space when he’s away from the stage, to regroup. As fans we are a hungry lot. The appetite for his voice and music is never ending. When he sings he is like a SuperSinger! David reminds us that he is actually “just human” when it comes to how that music is created.

Jan, Thanks for staying the course with all of us. I can’t count the times when I have shared some CD’s with someone after David’s name comes up in conversation. πŸ™‚
The CFTH Cd is the one that most can relate to because the songs are familiar.

I don’t watch SYTYCD so I have not seen the RM who is a contestant. But I do know that Benji Schwimmer, who won in 2011 is an RM.

Since then, he has come out as a gay man and left the LDS church because of a rule they have where gays are not permitted to do service work with children within the church. He calls it” having an asterisk” next to your name on the church rolls. He felt it was like having a Scarlett letter on his chest. He tells his story here: http://mormonstories.org/350-352-dance-champion-benji-schwimmer/

Angelofdja, That’s a fun video that David made. I do miss those funny moments in his vlogs.

Lynnella, You really don’t owe us anything, but we do appreciate your kindness. We’d be here to promote him until he asked us not to. hehe Keep on spreading the word about his music. It can only help whoever hears his voice.

Dayzee, The hardest part is when we wrack our brains to think fo something to write about that has not been done many times over. Don’t be surprised if this article stays up for a couple of weeks. πŸ™‚ Finding imspiration is my goal in life.

Tawna, I keep track of “quote-worthy” comments for the express purpose of sharing them in our quote box. This time it’s you! πŸ˜‰

    Abrra, Thank you.

It has been quite the journey, adjusting as we go along following his cue, or at least making a real attempt lol. David is human, with all the quirks that come along with it just like the rest of us. Though he is blessed with a heavenly voice and heart of gold. Years back I made a commitment to support him and that’s what I will continue to do whether he’s quite or noisy (which I know is coming) I’ll be here for the next phase, his words. See his comment on this instagram post.

And the it’s coming is reinforced by this tweet by Kari.

Jans, What would we do without your mega, super positive, happy comments that keeps us looking positive when the times are slow! Your kindness to the young Elders and Sisters of the LDS faith does not go unnoticed! And #thosehashtags #lovethemβ™₯

Angelofdja, Yeah… anytime that music is ready I’m here, also. πŸ™‚

Lynella, I love this…. “I think the main difference I’ve noticed is how calm he is. He doesn’t giggle or get nervous when he speaks like he used to. Dayzee, honesty bleeds from David’s pores…. that’s why he’s been so uncomfortable for so long (unbeknownst to us) because he wasn’t being allowed to live his own creed and code of ethics.

Thank you for this post that reminds us (again ) that David is human. He’s a celebrity who is working to embrace that. But, he also needs/desires his own space and time to create what he knows we are anxious to hear.

To Abrra and all those who share their talents on this site: I seldom post, but I am here regularly to enjoy the articles and comments. Just want to add my thank you for the time and effort that goes into doing what you do, and doing it so well. A fan thing should be a fun thing, so I especially appreciate the general sense of positivity found here.

I get that it can be difficult to come up with new things to say in the midst of all this silence; but notice how we fans have no problem repeating ourselves when it comes to extolling the virtues of our favorite singer. So keep on keeping on. We appreciate you!

TaterZen – Love your name and your picture. We once had a dog named Tater. He was a real character. Looked like a big Benji, shaggy, beige. So funny. He had a chair in the entry hall where he took afternoon naps. If you walked by and looked at him, he’d show you his teeth. We always said he was smiling at you, but we knew it meant, LEAVE ME ALONE.

Of course, when David smiles and shows us his teeth, he melts our hearts. Can’t wait to see that smile go on tour and hopefully, have a lot of video taken of it for us to gobble up.

Thank you Abrra, for creating a conversation for us to discuss what is right in front of us now. It led to a great amount of comments.

I usually write at night when it’s quiet so I totally understand where David is coming from when he says he needs silence to work. I too need silence to produce anything decent in terms of writing. I just don’t do well with distractions. I need a block of time free from phones ringing and other usual everyday noises. I wish it wasn’t this way because I would get a lot more done if I was able to work through the noise.

I’m used to the new David. A year ago, when I first played the video Abrra used in her article, it was alarming how different he seemed. But time heals and when I play it now, I see a young man who wants to be in charge of his life. I miss the old David the way I miss the younger version of my daughter. But I know that I can play old videos we took to see her at different ages. The reality is that kids grow up and they experience life and hopefully it changes them into caring, responsible adults who are able to support themselves doing something they love. What more can we ask of them really?

I am excited for what is to come.Just to see him onstage again at his own concert..will be wonderful.

I was thinking the other day about the song he sang one time (at an afterparty for Idol ),at the same one he sang “Hey Soul Sister”
I had it in stuck in my head for some reason..and remembered only the title, the words weren’t clear on the video we saw.It was called “If I Could Only Be” ..remember? so I looked for the lyrics which were in 2010.The words really hit home this time.

All that I could try to be,
    Someone that just wasn’t there
When I could be in ecstasy,
Part of me got lost out there
    Just this once I’ll try
Spread these broken wings and fly

    If I could only be,
What this world wants me to be, yeah
Could I finally be free, yeah
    And live in harmony

With all that I’ve been trying to be
    [ ] that wants you [ ]
Live your life like every day
    [ ] for reality
    Sometimes, sometimes
    [ ] never apart

    If you could only be,
What this world wants you to be, yeah
Could you finally be free, yeah
    And live in harmony, yeah

And I feel like heaven, I’m upending everything, oh oh oh
And I can’t keep up with all that’s in front of me, oh oh oh
But when I’m with you I am who I’m meant to be

    If we could only be,
What this world wants us to be, yeah
Could we finally be free, yeah
    And live in harmony

    Got to be, yeah
    Got to be free
    Got to be, yeah

Bebe I am at my creative best in the early morning hours. Having quiet is a must! I totally relate to what David says he requires to do his writing. Although I don’t have a “pensive” experience. I suppose if doing this site was my livelihood, that might change things. πŸ˜‰ I get what you are saying about adjusting to the new normal. I wish there was more frequency in his fan interaction. I guess that will pick up once the concerts are about to happen.

Sky Its so nice of you to bring us the lyrics to β€œIf I Could Only Be”. When we look back over so many clues that David dropped about his struggle with music business executives, we can be thankful he got the time to go on a mission and get his head clear. When I think that he almost left with out saying anything to fans, it shows the enormous stress he felt. Best that he announced his mission because if he had not, I think it may have hit him hard at some point and he wouldn’t be able to fix that for 2 years.

Having a healthy attitude about his career is a good sign for success.

How about a midweek puzzle? I saw this lovely edit by Shelly and thought it would be a nice puzzle.

Another question for you Gladys. Why do the contestants in Chile (and other non English speaking countries) sing only in English? Luis sounded weak and unconvincing. I hardly recognized the song. I think if they sang in their native language there would be more emotion and passion to the performance.

I do not know the Chilean music, I do not know, if there variety or diversity in their music. In those talent shows, pop music is essential. When I was in Chile, do not listen contemporary or pop music. I guess the music in English is a result of the shortfall. It’s just a personal opinion.

Abrra has this knack of bringing me exactly what I need, sometimes even when I didn’t know I needed it. That blog at #80 reminded me of so many heartfelt stories of people who have been touched by David. Annalee’s was especially complete in mentioning the many ways David impressed her. It was fun to see Tawna and Momjulee in the comments. I used to run into Momjulee at all the Idaho concerts and expect to see her in September.

Bluesky, thanks for the videos. I loved watching again the love and determination of those cute animals, but the best parts were the clips of David, showing the driving force behind those emotions and the very best was the ending with contemplative David.

Ah so Cc, your point of view differs from mine πŸ™‚
As a big time David fan, there is no doubt in my mind the light is David’s For you it may be Drew’s. Perhaps we will hear from a middle-of-the-roader who believes they share equally. I welcome all ideas, but for me, it is David’s. No surprise there.

I was watching David singing with the Tabernacle Choir on Unplugged today and then read in Annalee’s blog that he had said that was the high point of his career for him so far. He seemed so young, but capable and comfortable. I think the Motab performance may be my favorite also, And I must mention Silent Night where he gathered up the entire audience and took us all on an ethereal journey.

Lynnella and Dja, do you realize it is only a couple of days until July. To be followed by August. And then the magic month. Yayyyyy I feel like I should be doing something to get ready, but I don’t know what.

Let me explain my original comment because it seems to have been misunderstood.

“Anyone notice the light rays shining on David in that picture? You see that in religious paintings very often. He is not alone ”

The light rays are often used in paintings to represent a heavenly presence watching over the subject. The picture reminded me that even in a recording studio, there can be a heavenly presence guiding the musicians in their craft. Illuminating them to inspire their creativity. It was not to say that David was greater or lesser that the other man in the picture. A simple comment, nothing more.

107…Thanks for the link, Abs. All kinds of good photos of the wedding. I tried what you told me but I sure didn’t come up with this great page! πŸ™‚

108…Love the “Santa”! It’s less than 6 months to Christmas! πŸ™‚ Wonder if David will have a Christmas concert this year?

Ahh a puzzle titled “Coolness” Just what I needed when my thermometer was reading 106. Well, i could use a David puzzle any time.

Jan, hoping Mr. Christmas does not let us down. He has been the favorite part of my Christmas for several years now. Remember when he was involved with that “Jingle” tour thing with several performers and he was the only one to sing Christmas carols?

Emi, if you hang out in the orange juice aisle at TJ’s long enough surely David will appear.

Checking in after spending a week at my daughter’s home. We were tending 2 of her kids, 2 dogs, and 4 fair show pigs (they were more stressful than the dogs and the kids πŸ™‚ ) while she, her hubby and their oldest son went on the Pioneer Trek in Wyoming.

Lots of good stuff going on here with pictures and videos and a puzzle! Oh, and a serious reminder that September is right around the corner!!!

I read somewhere just a few days ago that David will be in Brazil in December doing a Christmas concert (they referenced MKOC). It was probably on FB.

    Glad to be home!

Sheila has posted an update on her daughter Tiffany’s Go Fund Me page.

“Thank you so much to everyone that has donated and helped us. You all made it possible for Tiffany to have her first appointment at The Lyme Center of New England today. She had a ton of blood work and will be having a SPECT scan of her brain to see where she is at with regard to the infection in her brain. She definitely needs IV medications; oral antibiotics are not enough for her at this point as the infection is in her heart, nervous system, and brain. She has a great cardiologist and neurologist who are on board with her continued treatment. All just want Tiffany to be well again. If she has any chance, it’s the IV. We might be able to get it covered as out of network though our insurance (80/20) which would still leave us with some costs such as the nurse visits, but not as much as if we had to completely self pay. That combined with having to pay out of pocket for the appointments themselves plus all the pharmacy co-pays and supplements still leaves us with a heavy burden so we are keeping the fundraiser open. If anyone has not shared, please feel free to. You can share to Twitter, Facebook, email. If anyone has Instagram what we did to share on there was take a screenshot of the fundraiser page and type the link into the Instagram description. Thank you to everyone for your continued support. ”

It’s good to know that she has started some meaningful treatment for her Lyme disease diagnosis. There are links at the top on her page to share her story on social media.

Hi, it’s Sheila/fa3ryg1rl. Just wanted to update for anyone that read my daughter’s story about her health struggles. Kara was kind of enough to post for us awhile back and it made a huge difference in the donations on our go fund me site. We were able to take my daughter to a private practice and had the money for the appointment and copays for the tests and medications. We are hopeful she will be able to get the IV back. I am linking the campaign again (hope that is okay) so you can read our newest update on how the appointment went and the plan of action for the summer. I sincerely thank you for posting our story here. If anyone would like to share it via Twitter, email your family/friends, Facebook, any social media, there are share buttons on the go fund me page. We thank you all again from the bottom of our hearts. It’s the worst thing in the world to watch your child suffer and it warms our hearts there are so many good and kind people out there that are helping us. David’s fans are the best most kind and caring people I know.

    Hi everyone,
I just spent two fantastic weeks with my daughter in Italy. What a wonderful experience. We hadn’t spent that much time together since she was just a little one.
Without internet for two weeks, I wanted you to know one of the first things I did when I go home was check in here. Your constancy and positive attitude about everything makes me feel like this is a home base for me, which I so appreciate. Thanks!

As far as David; I am happy that he is going at a pace he is comfortable with. What is great, I feel comfortable with that too.
    Again, thanks for being here.

#123 Jans11 – Thanks for the laugh, I needed that today. How dare they run off and leave you. I agree with all of your hashtags. I’m trying to be patient, but I want an album and I want it now (lol). Facing some health issues and new music would sure help out.

Thanks, Lynella! Glad to help. Just this morning as I was lolling around in bed, my son sent a message to the family telling us where they are. I can’t get over how great electronics are now. With the time difference, his day is closing and mine is starting and I’m getting messages from around the world lying in bed! πŸ™‚ It was fun with some of the family jumping in with their comments. With them all in different locations. So much fun!

Here’s hoping your health issues will clear up. Me wants a new album too… πŸ™‚ here’s a big hint…………….Davids’ old songs sure helps out too! πŸ™‚ They do me anyway. I’ve worn out some of my albums, but I still play them and just let the song skip around! πŸ™‚

I watched a few David videos on youtube. That always helps. I really like his new song, He Showed Me How. I love that. It’s so soothing and comforting. My best friend from high school, and we were best friends ever since, died of colon cancer last week. I live in KY and she and her husband had moved to FL about 8 years ago, but we still talked on the phone at least 3 or 4 times a week. She loved David’s music too. I’ll miss her a lot, but I know I’ll see her again one day. David’s music reinforces that for me. I think that’s one of the things I like best about David, his faith. He’s an encourager. I always feel lifted up after hearing him sing. If that new song is any indication of what his new album will be like, I know I will be better when I hear it.

Lynnella, watching his videos is always helpful, except I get into them and can’t quit! πŸ™‚ Sorry to hear about your friend passing on. It is so hard to lose someone you love or close to. {{{hugs}}}! HSMH is a beautiful song and sings the spiritual songs so well. Probably because he is so full of spirit himself. I have been listening to his Begin album a lot lately. I just love it when he sings Everybody Hurts! “don’t throw your hand!” love it!

I think I will play cheerleader… this thought just came to me….
    Who we gonna root for?
    David, David, that’s who!
When we gonna get his new album?
    Soon, Soon, that’s when! πŸ™‚

I know, I’m not a great cheerleader, but it’s the thought that counts! πŸ™‚

Abrra, marriage was defined by God in the Bible as the union of one man with one woman. I think God probably has a little more wisdom about things than we do.And so it has been for thousands of years. THAT’S why it took so long for man to change what was instituted by God. I feel very sorry for children growing up in this culture. This is a sad day for many people, including myself, but hey……if it feels good, do it, right? Isn’t that the new morality? I don’t mean to sound snarky. I just really hate to see the consequences of this unwise court decision now being imposed on everyone.
