Aggggghhhhhh! He looks close enough to be an identical twin!! Really… don’t they know the real thing when they see it?!!

I guess people still figure him to be a quiet little guy in Utah, going to BYU, and hanging out with high school friends from the past. Who would even venture to think that he could have moved to Nashville and is working between there and LA with top-notch writers and producers? Oh, and doing some speaking and singing engagements in between. Yeah, I guess he looks like David Archuleta … maybe it is, maybe it isn’t I’ll just turn my back and walk away.

Somebody puh-leze … put me in a bakery when he is there!!!!!

I keep remembering what that girl Missionary said about him at the Training Center when the guy missionary said he was tiny. She said he is tiny, he is beautiful. That about sums it up. There’s no mistaking that face and especially since he talked. No one else has a voice like that.

I’m within driving distance of Nashville. But then what? Stalking just isn’t in my makeup. Of course, hanging out in a Mexican bakery, nothing wrong with that, maybe I just like baked goods 😉

  3. tawna21 said

Lynella, if your luck is like mine you’d be at the bakery and he’d be at the smoothie shop next door. #justthinkingoutloud 😉

This put a big smile on my face today! 🙂
    The most adorable tweet/IG ever!

I was so tickled by this instagram I had to give it the proper attention 😂

Was it a compliment?! The sense of humor is still intact lol

Dayzee, you have to tell us all about it!

  6. angelofdja said

Oh my! LOVE David’s humor! But, really? There is only ONE David Archuleta and I’m 100% sure I would know “him” anywhere! That VOICE is one-of-a-kind 😉 ❤

I am very proud of David for speaking at the religious freedom event .It takes a lot of guts these days to actually take a stand for Christ and God’s Word , the Bible. People today prefer to decide what is right in their own eyes, and ridicule anyone who has religious convictions. Then they say the religious person is hateful, when it is actually the one who insists that everyone must agree with THEIR choices and behavior. A true follower of Christ would never mock and force another person to participate in something that goes against their faith and conscience. The real bullies are those who threaten and try to destroy people who are only trying to live according to the will of God. Just had to get that off my chest.

P.S. ” All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” That’s why we need a Savior. Happy Easter to all who celebrate !!:)

  9. jans11 said

Haha, it’s better than looking like Ricky Archuleta or David Enchalada!! 🙂 If I seen him out some where, I would know him in right off! He just has that special look. Yes, Lynnella he is tiny and beautiful. Maybe someone that hasn’t met him would wonder if it was really him, but anyone that has met him, I’m sure would know him.

    From last post….
The Freedom of Religion symposium is a great thing for David to take part in. And I’m also glad that he is getting the occolades that he so deserves!
Dayzee, if he keeps doing appearances in Utah, I might have to rent out your spare bedroom!! haha 🙂

  10. jans11 said

Well said, Oliveoil! Yes, Happy Easter to everyone that believes.

  11. bluesky4home said

Jan’s, Oliveoil, (and all you “loves” out there)…

    Yes, Happy, Happy, Easter!!

There are all sorts of “good, bad, and indifferent” people in every system of belief and unbelief. Labels are good for pickle jars, but not much use when it comes to humankind.
I like a quote I have on my desk, “humans are the only creature that can pause between a stimulus and a response”. We have that gift, and with it comes the burden of self responsibility. So like it or not, we must search, seek, test and learn. We must “come to believe” in something. We must constantly strive to better ourselves.
And everyone is going to make that journey in their own way. That is one reason why I love DA, because he does not turn away from that task, nor the choices such a conscious search demands.
I admire anyone that finds joy, goodness, and light for their path. How much we need kindness towards each other. And gentle courage.

I found this video on You Tube today and it is a perfect example of what I mean about “joy”. I wish “joy” to all who celebrate this week. May your celebrations bring you peace, love, and renewal.

(And Dear DA: if your “dry wit” gets any dryer you’re gonna have to hand out “cling free” sheets. Just sayin’.)

#7 – Oliveoil, I couldn’t agree with you more. It seems like everyone except a Christian is allowed to give his opinion nowadays. And, if as Christians, you don’t agree with what they’re saying, then you’re the one who has to apologize. Whatever happened to free speech for the Christians. We seem to be the only ones who are chastised for expressing our opinions. I’m not prejudiced, nor am I a bigot, and I believe that everyone has the right to his own opinion and the right to do what he wants, as long as he isn’t breaking the law. But, it seems to me that that only applies to non Christians anymore. Just my opinion, and I won’t apologize for it.

He certainly does look like David Archuleta. And yes, it is a compliment. Following David always makes me smile

Got tickets for the religious freedom symposium with some help from Tawna. Yayy! The tickets were free but carried a 50 cent service fee. Weird but wonderful.

C’mon over Jan. Looks like there will be lots of David in our future

Bebe, no one has more adorable tweets than David.

Thanks Djafan for the post about this very whimsical Instagram! By what I can see here, David is more comfortable in his skin these days. I appreciate seeing a live action fan interaction and hearing how relaxed David is in this situation. When we have a still photo, we don’t hear what was said.
    This was pure fun!

  15. skydancer1x said

Oh David! Hahaha! Gosh , can’t stop playing this over and over and over again. It’s kind of like a short vlog,I’ll take it! That voice is smooth and soothing whether he’s talking or singing. Haha Tawna ….”somebody puh-leze put me in a bakery when he is there!!!!! ” Lynella “maybe I just like baked goods”. you both crack me up! We need an “Archie” working in every food establishment in Nashville. Haha best Instagram ever!

    The KING of …. everything.

(He is def gonna need “cling free” sheets… just to make it through a store or crowd. ^_^)

I apologize for not fixing your YT link sooner. I usually do that when fans post and it won’t embed. Because of the various formats that YT offers such as “playlists”, the link at the top can become something that WordPress can’t “see”.

This was your link: “” I have added quotes so it won’t embed this time lol
This is my edited link: “”

It’s trial and error. I tried a few changes in the address and got it to work. The original link was lacking www in the address. I have no idea why it worked if clicked on but didn’t embed.

Don’t stress if it won’t work. We will fix it as soon as we see it.

Bluesky, thank you for that awesome video. My whole family is Jewish, so it really made me laugh to see those people really enjoying their heritage !! I will forward that to my brothers and sis, but not my mom cuz I don’t think she’d get it . haha

Tuacahn Center for the Arts has added another concert night for David Archuleta. Tickets for the public on sale April 8, 2015

  27. Dayzee said

Haha! I knew that fellow selling Tuacahn tickets would be looking for David to fill another night. Got tickets for Friday, limit of 2 tickets. Yayy! My son brought his family of 6 from St George and we spent the day at the water park. Stopped for ice cream on the way home and checked my Email. There was David selling tickets! Tried to call the box office, but they were closed, so had to order from my phone with those little bitty letters I can hardly read. Between nerves and semi-blindness it took me forever to get that job done.

Still tending the cat. And 6 fishes. Loving the Vegas heat.

Those Passover guys have lots of energy. Got me chair dancing.

  28. Abrra said

The 2nd show ticket sales are April 8th. I hope you didn’t buy another set for Nov 7th?

  29. Dayzee said

Tuacahn sent me an email to buy today. I think it is because I have season tickets. I have a confirmations for 11/6 & 11/7. Although I wouldn’t mind going twice on Saturday also. 🙂

  30. MT said

Congrats, Dayzee! That’s awesome that you get to go see him twice. They must have had lots of additional requests for tickets to add a second show. I hope it sells as well as the first. Lots of folks means we’ll probably get videos. 🙂

  31. jans11 said

Dang, Dayzee, you’re making up for lost time! 🙂 Never underestimate the power of someone trying to get DA tickets! haha 🙂 But where there’s a will, there’s a way…um hmm….! Congrats!! Are you going to the one North of SLC in September too? With you living so close, it would be hard to resist! 🙂

Too bad we are never in Vegas at the same time! 🙂

  32. jans11 said

22…Very nice Easter video. Thanks David!

25…Brooke is so funny. She’s on my IG, always doing little blogs and ( sometimes long ones) 🙂 and her little girl Londy Loo is so cute.
Looks like David may be loosening up a bit. 🙂 Love seeing him and his “dry wit! 🙂
