I guess people still figure him to be a quiet little guy in Utah, going to BYU, and hanging out with high school friends from the past. Who would even venture to think that he could have moved to Nashville and is working between there and LA with top-notch writers and producers? Oh, and doing some speaking and singing engagements in between. Yeah, I guess he looks like David Archuleta … maybe it is, maybe it isn’t I’ll just turn my back and walk away.
Somebody puh-leze … put me in a bakery when he is there!!!!!

I keep remembering what that girl Missionary said about him at the Training Center when the guy missionary said he was tiny. She said he is tiny, he is beautiful. That about sums it up. There’s no mistaking that face and especially since he talked. No one else has a voice like that.
I’m within driving distance of Nashville. But then what? Stalking just isn’t in my makeup. Of course, hanging out in a Mexican bakery, nothing wrong with that, maybe I just like baked goods 😉

I am very proud of David for speaking at the religious freedom event .It takes a lot of guts these days to actually take a stand for Christ and God’s Word , the Bible. People today prefer to decide what is right in their own eyes, and ridicule anyone who has religious convictions. Then they say the religious person is hateful, when it is actually the one who insists that everyone must agree with THEIR choices and behavior. A true follower of Christ would never mock and force another person to participate in something that goes against their faith and conscience. The real bullies are those who threaten and try to destroy people who are only trying to live according to the will of God. Just had to get that off my chest.

Haha, it’s better than looking like Ricky Archuleta or David Enchalada!! 🙂 If I seen him out some where, I would know him in right off! He just has that special look. Yes, Lynnella he is tiny and beautiful. Maybe someone that hasn’t met him would wonder if it was really him, but anyone that has met him, I’m sure would know him.

Yes, Happy, Happy, Easter!!
There are all sorts of “good, bad, and indifferent” people in every system of belief and unbelief. Labels are good for pickle jars, but not much use when it comes to humankind.
I like a quote I have on my desk, “humans are the only creature that can pause between a stimulus and a response”. We have that gift, and with it comes the burden of self responsibility. So like it or not, we must search, seek, test and learn. We must “come to believe” in something. We must constantly strive to better ourselves.
And everyone is going to make that journey in their own way. That is one reason why I love DA, because he does not turn away from that task, nor the choices such a conscious search demands.
I admire anyone that finds joy, goodness, and light for their path. How much we need kindness towards each other. And gentle courage.
I found this video on You Tube today and it is a perfect example of what I mean about “joy”. I wish “joy” to all who celebrate this week. May your celebrations bring you peace, love, and renewal.
(And Dear DA: if your “dry wit” gets any dryer you’re gonna have to hand out “cling free” sheets. Just sayin’.)

#7 – Oliveoil, I couldn’t agree with you more. It seems like everyone except a Christian is allowed to give his opinion nowadays. And, if as Christians, you don’t agree with what they’re saying, then you’re the one who has to apologize. Whatever happened to free speech for the Christians. We seem to be the only ones who are chastised for expressing our opinions. I’m not prejudiced, nor am I a bigot, and I believe that everyone has the right to his own opinion and the right to do what he wants, as long as he isn’t breaking the law. But, it seems to me that that only applies to non Christians anymore. Just my opinion, and I won’t apologize for it.

Got tickets for the religious freedom symposium with some help from Tawna. Yayy! The tickets were free but carried a 50 cent service fee. Weird but wonderful.

Thanks Djafan for the post about this very whimsical Instagram! By what I can see here, David is more comfortable in his skin these days. I appreciate seeing a live action fan interaction and hearing how relaxed David is in this situation. When we have a still photo, we don’t hear what was said.

Haha! I knew that fellow selling Tuacahn tickets would be looking for David to fill another night. Got tickets for Friday, limit of 2 tickets. Yayy! My son brought his family of 6 from St George and we spent the day at the water park. Stopped for ice cream on the way home and checked my Email. There was David selling tickets! Tried to call the box office, but they were closed, so had to order from my phone with those little bitty letters I can hardly read. Between nerves and semi-blindness it took me forever to get that job done.
Still tending the cat. And 6 fishes. Loving the Vegas heat.
Those Passover guys have lots of energy. Got me chair dancing.
