Jan, regarding the weather here…. sunny, in the 60’s for the last few days….. they say it’s supposed to start cooling down some. It kind of looks like SB is still getting hammered with snow. 😦 We may have to go pull her out of her igloo soon!!

Good thing I’ve already heard Day After Tomorrow since all I could do was watch the silent animated talking of David! 🙂 He was really talking with his eyes.. 🙂 It’s hard for me to choose a favorite because I love them all for different reasons.
Thanks Tawna. 60 and sunny sounds real good compared to what we’ve been having..but Spring is right around the corner! 🙂 And I’m thankful that I don’t live in Canada where it stays colder longer.. Poor SB…hoping their spring isn’t too far off either.

Lady V’s excitement is infectious! Their collaborations have been some of my favorite. We’ve been lucky enough to get Everything and More live. Now it’s time for the others to be sung live as well!!! Well maybe when he comes out of the creative zen zone he’s buried himself in 🙂

I was just watching BlueDot’s video of Heart Falls Out again. No matter how many times I watch it, I still can’t get over how great she did matching his mouth to the words of the song by cutting pieces of his previous videos. The sentiment and angst shown in the video matches the song, too. Between David’s amazing vocals and her video skills, what a Fabulous Video!

Its been awhile ! “Heart Falls Out “is exactly what’s gonna happen to me the day I get to see David sing live again. It may just fly out my chest and land on the stage. When I was at the Dr’s office, the receptionist seen the photo on my phone cover and asked me who the picture was of. I told her David Archuleta and she said..from AI or the Voice? I said AI and she said didn’t he win? I said he came in 2nd, he’s a great singer and she agreed. I told her that I’ve went to a lot of his concerts and have met him 4 times and he is just the best. She said, really? And I said yep! End of conversation! 🙂 lol She seemed to really like him too! I have tried to send a photo of my Christmas presents from my daughter and grand daughter, but I guess it didn’t go thru. It’s a photo mug and 2 phone covers. Everyone thinks they are great and wants to know where I got them! I sent it to: The VoiceDA@gmail.com Is that right, Abrra?

Tawna…yes I would appreciate being pulled out of the whiteness!! The news says that people are now able to look around outside for things they have lost….first their cars & secondly their minds! Awhile ago a young fellow with autism had the opportunity to give weather reports during the many storms, sometimes two big storms a week. He is delightful. His warnings are true that we need to prepare before each storm for power failures etc etc. He is quite animated. He has coined the term “storm chips” as part of the preparation and it has taken hold throughout the province as it seems people stock up on comfort food for the long haul. Now the news is that a big tractor trailer of chips has rolled into another store so oh no, another storm must be coming. You see, yes, we have lost our minds. We backed our car out of our driveway the other day and I was texting. Then we stopped and I looked up and said where are we? The walls of snow were so tall on each side of us that I had lost my bearings on where we were completely.
So Tawna, I see I missed your birthday and the celebration! All the best to you!
It is the first day of spring!! Google has flowers popping up!
When we get up, we are going to stand on the snow banks and rake the snow off of the roofs.! The sun is ‘glorious’ and melting the snow but it is backing up under the shingles.
David, I am looking forward to hearing your most amazing voice very soon, then I will gladly smile again!!!

Have you noticed how many times he has talked about the importance of the simple things, such as faith, family, friends, being kind , helpful, and thinking of others. Pretty sure his new music will express these things as well………..because, well, that’s who he is. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Re the riddle above: for Sandybeaches that answer might seem like “spring” at this point. ^_^
DA’s quote comes from a story in the Book of Mormon. In that story a father who is close to the end of his time on earth is counseling his son. He testifies to his son that “heaven” will always be with him if he will: 1-value and study the scriptures, keeping them “bright” in his life, 2-pray for guidance continually, and 3-believe and have faith in those “small and simple” means God uses to work miracles in our lives.
DA is such a great example of one who seeks to notice and be greatful for those small and simple things that bless our lives each day.
This site and you people are some of the things for which I am grateful.

Tawna, I think David is saying that he is doing things his way, in baby steps to get where he wants to be. Happy and doing music, but it doesn’t have to be worldwide stardom. I still hope he will get what he deserves because of his greatness. In my eyes, his greatness is because he doesn’t want to be popular for the wrong reasons, he knows that he has been blessed and wants to use it the right way.

First concert announced! Do not hesitate if you want tickets.They go on sale 3/25/15 and season ticket holders get first choice. A commenter at FOD called the venue and got this information.

Hey guys, I’ve been on twitter too! Sent a tweet to @davidarchie and downloaded that link bandsintown.com on my phone and David’s concert came up and I checked that I was going! I will be there God willing and the creek don’t rise! 🙂 I’m saving my money for the airfare! whoop, whoop! Dayzee, is your spare bedroom still available?? 🙂 Don’t think it was ironic that the announcement came at one year being back. Sounds like a plan to me. 🙂

Shanny, if you want to buy today you would have to call the box office number listed on the site and buy a season pass. The lowest cost is 59 and it would get you into three shows totally unrelated to David’s concert. You just have to have that in order to get into this presale. I bought tickets today and she said they were selling fast. If you wait until tomorrow they should be available through clicking the buy button his concert on the website. I am sorry but I have no way to know what impact your currency issues may cause. You might want to call the box office instead of buying on line to make sure everything goes ok?? I don’t know.

I was just discussing this with my hubby at lunch, and while he is in full support of me trying for tickets, and he will go with me, he chuckled when he reminded me that this is in November in Utah. St. George is noted for it’s warm/hot temps (it’s desert), but nights are cold. Soooo, plan on lots of blankets and warm clothes!

Jan, yes, the room is available. I can even get us a free room in Ivins, the city Tuacahn is really in. They just say St. George because nobody knows where Ivins is. My daughter lives there.
