David James Archuleta (born December 28, 1990) is an American singer-songwriter and actor. At ten years old, he won the children's division of the Utah Talent Competition leading to other television singing appearances.[6] When he was twelve years old, Archuleta became the Junior Vocal Champion on Star Search 2.[6] In 2007, at sixteen years old, he became one of the youngest contestants on the seventh season of American Idol.[7] In May 2008 he finished as the runner-up, receiving 44 percent of over 97 million votes.
Remember that it’s playing on Archie Radio today. http://archieradio.listen2myradio.com/
Been listening for the last hour and heard the song 2x so far. Although I can hear David’s voice throughout the song, it’s fun to pick out the lines he actually sings.
Color my heart HAPPY!!!!! I just heard AFTROG on the radio! I had forgotten that it was coming out today (busy morning) and was blown away when I heard them playing this on FM100.3! Amazing collaboration!
I just downloaded the song and I have to tell anyone who hasn’t yet, it’s so worth it! Peter Hollins’ voice is really beautiful and David is just exquisite on it!! The part just before and after the 2:00 mark is fabulous. His voice …… *sigh* no words.
They harmonize beautifully. Their voices blend really well.
Yes, MT, it’s beautiful! And you can use that word as many times as you want to describe it, because that describes it perfectly! *sigh* #moreDavidArchuletaChristmasmusic #canneverbetoomuch
This is another one of those ‘can’t stop listening’ songs! David’s voice was made for this type of grandiose song! Then again, his voice is also perfect for songs on a smaller scale like a capella or even a lullabye. It all works! #TheVoice
oh, and just in case anyone else had this problem. I downloaded the song but when I went to look for it I couldn’t find it. So I downloaded it again. And Again. Until I realized that for some odd reason it downloaded as Angels We Have Heard On High. I had about 5 copies of it before I realized what it was doing so I had to go in and correct the name of the song on my PC.
Just wanted to let you guys know in case it happens to you.
Since the video is going to be released on TPG’s Youtube channel, I clicked to check out their channel out of curiosity. They have almost 3.5 million subscribers! I watched some of their videos, too. Some really cool stuff there. A colab with David and The Piano Guys would be awesome.
Wouldn’t you love to see them on stage together?
LOL, I am spamming again. Sorry! New David music does that to me. (It is NOT my fault.)
Among the most magnificent times of my life were the 4 MOTAB Christmas concerts I attended when David was the guest soloist.
This carol was the finale and David was at the helm with all of the performers in the hundreds surrounding him. This was his moment in time. It brought us to our feet in grand style.
No wonder another version has been produced. I listen to his every line filled with the memories of 84,000 people hearing him sing it. His voice is beautiful as usual and I can only hope that this brings him to all people where his voice belongs for a very long time.
Speaking of glorious, I hope that his Solos from the MOTAB concerts will be featured here together for Christmas. Nothing matches David singing solo.
I just downloaded the song on my phone! But my earpiece is still in my suitcase waiting to be unpacked. So I will listen to it later.
Looking forward to the treat!
Yes this song is bee u ti ful!!! His voice is just magnificent, no matter how many times I hear it. When I get caught up in life things and haven’t heard David all day, I think…I can get along without his singing…haha, yea, right. I hear his voice again and I am in love all over again! What his voice does to me!! MT, I agree, and it’s not my fault either! 🙂
SB, I always think of him singing that with MOTAB also. The first time we were in the overflow room and watched him on the big screen. Our tickets were for the Sat. night show and watched him in the balcony. The 3rd time was on Sunday morning when I was lucky to be able to attend that show too. Only I was on the 2nd row. He was and is so awesome in every thing he does. Hoping some day the whole world will realize this. 🙂
Love the TBT pictures from Manila. He sure gives us a lot of good memories!
Jans…Those who have heard David sing solo do realize he is exceptional but it is in his hands when he allows his solo voice to be heard again by the general public. He is a solo performer although many of the established greats are singing duets. Definitely he is amazing with a choir and orchestra. But he is making the rounds and will find himself when he is ready. His voice is not one to be picked out from others but to be heard from the very first note because he is just that good.
His singing of “Angels from the Realms of Glory” was a world class performance with the Tabernacle Choir 2010. Like the many great singers who have traditional status for Christmastime, David joined them years ago.
It is a beautiful video and a beautiful collaboration of a beautiful time. Los Piano Guys (that’s what David called them lol) have 3.5 mil subscribers to their youtube channel, Peter 865,664 and David 123,380, his VEVO 118,608 for a total of 241,988. This can only bode well for his recognition among many of him that may not know of him or haven’t heard him recently.
I was blessed to be at Motab thanks to Angelica and SandyBeaches. I was able to attend Saturdays and Sundays shows. There is no comparison in my opinion to David, surprise! haha David is a solo artist, his voice stands alone even in collaboration with others. So here to exposure and buzz of his name so when he releases his awaited music in 2015 we will be ready.
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for adding it to the top djafan 🙂
I guess this is the go to scream cap for that video LOL! I made this before checking the top of the page. It’s now covering my entire screen on the desktop.
I really liked the song, and the video is great as well. Love the behind the scenes feel in parts, the kids getting ready,
seeing the piano guys playing, and David singing and everything. I think it was just right, since it wasn’t a David video – it was a
huge collaboration. That said, his voice @ 2:00 kills me. The Glorias.
p.s. I am listening to the radio today and right now Josh Groban’s O Holy Night is playing. I imagine that if I hadn’t heard David sing it,
I would have loved Josh’s version. But I don’t. I am spoiled.
Wait, now Nat King Cole is singing. THAT is beautiful too. 🙂
Apropos of nothing, I am so glad that I could download the song without sharing it on FB, as the instructions say. I wouldn’t have done it.
It was a great gift. But I would’ve paid for it. 🙂
Thanks for all the help. I got it downloaded. We had a power outage last night, so I couldn’t thank you sooner. It is beautiful. I always get panicky to hear new things Now!

David Archuleta teamed up with beloved musical acts The Piano Guys, Peter Hollens, and The Mormon Tabernacle Choir to perform “Angels, from the Realms of Glory”, in conjunction with a record-breaking live Nativity celebrating the birth of Christ. We hope you enjoy the video!
David Archuleta Sings ‘Angels From The Realm Of Glory’ For Guinness World Record
David Archuleta sings of the angels with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Peter Hollens in this new video from Provo, Utah.
The 23-year-old singer partnered up with the choir, Peter plus The Piano Guys to record the song alongside a record-breaking live Nativity event earlier this month.
In the Provo desert, there were over 1,000 people dressed up as wise men, angels, along with a camel, a donkey and a sheep all trying to set a new Guinness record for the largest live nativity scene, and according to judge Michael Empric, there were 1,039 participants in the production, beating the record of 898 people last year at a nativity scene in the United Kingdom.
“I will share the gift by giving a compliment a day (even to strangers). Decided to push myself a little further than what I would normally think of. The other day sitting at the Car shop I complimented the guy next to me for his cool socks and had a nice chat with him about his family and work. It’s not hard to share the gift! What will you do? #SharetheGift #Christmas #complimentaday #eventostrangers #thumbsup,” David recently tweeted about the Share The Gift campaign.
I am glad to see the “bug” I had is contagious. At least the part of it that spreads cheer!! (((((super hugs))))) to all.
I am just giddy with joy over his voice, timing, extemps, change-ups, tone, control, expression, volume, monumental emotional power — and all the rest.
Put him anywhere (like you all have said) and he is still a solo act. I love the way Steve turns to look at him when he sings. Good thing you know how to play that cello upside-down and backwards, Steve. ‘Cause it wouldn’t matter if you didn’t, you would still have to turn and look at him when he sings anyway. ^_^
Well, before his mission, my dream was that when DA got back, he could somehow get together with the Piano Guys and do a video, performance, anything.
I never dreamed that that would happen all on its own, before DA was even ready to begin presenting his own (new) work. I am so very grateful. So. Very. Grateful.
Some divine planner is watching over all of this. Before he is even ready, DA is still in the spotlight in so many ways. And all these people are so talented, well-known (well, in new media they are well-known!), grounded, generous, etc.
Hey, piano guys — I saw you, Steven, being touched by the voice over your left shoulder. Music always does that to you anyway, I know, but I bet you never have heard a voice do before what you get your cello to do. (probably did not make sense, but if Steve were here he would know what I meant.)
True Bluesky…I have had the decision for myself that if I see someone who I could compliment friend or stranger I do and make conversation but the suggestions David gives I believe is set towards the very young to give some kind of guidance that is what David does. The world is in a sad state and the only things that we can do is to be thoughtful as it is needed. Everyone I know in David land is already kind and complimentary even when joking and they do have a great sense of humor. There is a long list of good people I have met and hope to see again very soon.
“but I bet you never have heard a voice do before what you get your cello to do. (probably did not make sense, but if Steve were here he would know what I meant.)”
I know exactly what you mean. Before I had heard of Los Piano Guys, Kevin Osula, or Lindsey Sterling I listened to strings just for the feeling the sound gave me. No human voice had EVER given me that reaction until David Archuleta
I live in Atlanta, GA and last year I went to a concert of the “Piano Guys”. The show was fantastic with the music and the comedy between the guys. They are naturals. I was hoping that they would get together with David and do a video. The Piano Guys have done several Youtube videos with Lindsey Stirling and Alex Boye. The videos are awesome. So now that the Piano Guys have formerly met David and have worked with him, maybe they will invite him to sing in one of their super amazing videos.
I love the new video because it shows the community coming together for this very special event in history. The photography was awesome in every way. It’s easy to distinguish David’s voice from everyone else. His voice is so rich and deep.
I love the top photo of David with that big smile. I love to see him so happy that he glows. There is no other smile like David’s, IMO.
So, what’s next for David? I will be patient, I will be patient, I will be patient…….

Beautiful! Line another person said, even if you’re not religious, you can still appreciate messages of peace, love, forgiveness, and charity for all like Jesus taught, especially during the Christmas season. It is a holiday of happiness and joy.

+Nina Dimopoulou Thank you for sharing this with us and I have to say this would have to be the first time I’ve seen David Archuleta in a music video in a few years, I had heard he came back from his mission and is a Mormon, as well. It was nice of Peter, The Piano Guys, Stuart, Devin and the others to do this, too. :)

I’m Muslim and I respect the part that each human from whichever religion or belief takes in glorifying the divine light (i.e. God). It’s beautiful and heartwarming to see the divines name being called out so vividly, hope someday we all can put our differences aside.

Lovely having Peter Hollens and The Piano Guys collaborate! Two of my favorite youtube sensations. But who’s the other guy? He’s really good, too!
(This about Peter Collens, not LDS)
Kim VanderDoes4
He said in an interview “even though I’m not LDS, I’m so glad to be apart of this video” or something along those lines.

The Piano Guys with David Archuleta……..thrilling!
Ha, ha, Djafan! Now it is 172,000 and counting! (well, almost. ^_^ I know YT is a bit delayed in showing the actual numbers sometimes.)
I like how DA’s day begins early and goes late. Poor guy can’t do anything on-line until after school hours. Hope all his finals went well! Should be about done by now!
Oh, we have just GOT to see us some tour vids. We are on a roll.
Oh my heart!!! This video is breathtaking all the way around! I don’t think Hollywood could have done it any better. The spirit that real, live, and spontaneous brings is incredible! But then, we know that already. We know that David’s live performances are unequaled. This is Christmas 2014! ♥♫♥♪
Thank you to all for keeping this so current. It’s so nice to come here and have links and photos, and not to have to search for them! ♥

David Archuleta discusses his own experience during the 2010 Christmas concert, “Glad Christmas Tidings,” and gives advice to this years group of performers.
Oh. the video is just fantastic! How could it not with David, THE VOICE, singing in it!! ♥ Spine tingling! And Dayzee, you done good! FYI, 330,151 views now!
25, SB, I totally agree with you.
50, And there’s something special about you too, David!!
Thanks for all the great info Dja and Abs. Sure appreciated!
SB, I loved your reminder of the Motab finale when David sang Angels From the Realms of Glory. What a fantastic finish that was. When I signed up for the video shoot, an email was sent to me requesting us to memorize the words to the last half of that song. I was so excited to expect David to be singing it again.
Bluesky, I remember you wishing for a David and Piano Guys collaboration. You got your Christmas gift a little early. We are all enjoying the fruits of your dream.
In the Behind the Scenes video up top I am at 4:22 to 4:24, next to the fellow in the hat. Really close (on tape) to David who appears half a minute later 🙂
Dja and Abrra, love all the scream caps.
The governor’s mansion was open to the public for a few hours for the Christmas season. It is a beautiful mansion built in 1902 by the owner of the Silver King mine. My granddaughter and I went to see the extensive decor set up for the holidays. I found out that if you open the door to the cellar a fellow with a gun will show up immediately and reset the alarm. We were not arrested.
I am pleased that David was asked to give his reflections upon the most beautiful times that he has experienced in his singing career. I reflect upon that time and at the very moment of the last note he sang I visualized him standing at a door that would open for his music future. I actually saw a few doors and thought it was wonderful. Then we left the building.
He has the voice and the talents to go anywhere but perhaps the question is how does he really get there? I believe that most of the guest performers who sing with the MOTABS have well established careers but imagine how big this would be for a singer on the road to becoming accomplished? It may have made it difficult for the years following. Where do you go after that, what is satisfying after that? It takes time to unfold, to get by certain things. But he will do that. He is obviously needed to sing, to assist and that was possibly decided upon years ago, but he will be back. Time keeps changing everything.
With the LDS membership worldwide around 15 million, the numbers are sure to rise for days. They have a very good means of communicating. It will be interesting to see the numbers rise and of course there are the fans to consider.
SB this is true, however most LDS do not follow the Piano Guys. Their following is worldwide and mostly a wide variety of …. just people who love music. ^_^
I have listened to this sooooo many times. I think I could count for a thousand views all by myself! (((((ears-happy)))))
#50 It is amazing to me that David does not think he is articulate. I cannot think of any other person that could say so much and make me feel his heart so readily in 2:27, as David is able to do.
Dayzee #54… I see you! I see you! ♥♥ That’s so exciting!! You’re a film star!!!
However, Dayzee, didn’t your mama ever tell you not to open doors at other people’s homes and go snooping?! “… a fellow with a gun will show up immediately and reset the alarm. We were not arrested.” That can happen. That’s why you don’t snoop! 🙂 You make me laugh. Please don’t ever change!!!! ♥
SB, David is riding his course. The problem is, we don’t have a clue as to what his course is. I’m not sure that he is completely aware of the exact route yet either. We just get to ride alongside (very quietly) and see where the trail takes us. I can, and I will, go the course with him. I’m pretty sure it will be worth it. ♥
Bluesky #61, I finally put my ear buds back in so my hubby wouldn’t know that I was on repeat for one song….. nope, just listening to Christmas music.
Poof #62, why is David so able to make us feel his heart so readily? How does his spirit touch us so deeply?
Oh Deseret News, he is not still introduced as the 16 year old finalist from AI is he really? He is turning 24 in just a few days! He is better known as the 2010 MOTAB Christmas concert guest singer who broke the all time record for most requests worldwide for tickets by the thousands (actually about 1 1/2 million requests). Thousands more waited outside in the cold before those 4 concerts hoping to get a seat! Come on Deseret news he has toured the US extensively and then done it again and even again. He has been back and forth to Asia performing how many times? He had it snow on us in a casino in December! So memorable… He visited the lepers in India and we helped him build a sidewalk there! He made grown men cry when they listened to his version of “Silent Night”. That is just a small bit of who he is. Well maybe next time…
Sandybeaches: the Deseret News ….. not my fav. newspaper! But… at least they spelled his name right! ^_^
(and maybe it is even better that he was never a Disney Mousketeer (or whatever they are called!)… He would NEVER live that down, ha, ha. So I guess there are worse things than being an AI finalist.
Golly, his smile and wave are so very heartwarming. *wavesback*
Merry Christmas to you, too, bud.
#66 – Love looking at this wave/smile and seeing David’s real smile or the smile he gives that really makes it all the way to his eyes and of course how he looks people directly in the eyes.
723,000 and counting. Wanna lay odds on popping a million before midnight tomorrow?
I just wish I could give all of them: the You Tubers – one and all – a great big hug. They dreamed this whole thing up and pulled it off in between 2-3 weeks one of them said. And it almost did not happen. What a great group to pull together to do this just because they wanted to do it.
I saw the notice in my email – that invited me to come be an “angel” if I wanted to. And like many others, I just thought it was one of those well-planned, long thought-out church things. Nope. It was just these guys wanting to find a way to do something big for Christmas.
Well, they did. And they are letting all the views go to the credit of the Piano Guys. I know they will have links on their own pages, but when you are a You Tuber, original hits count a lot. But perhaps not, I don’t really know how it all works. At any rate, I love what they did and that they had so many people collaborate to do it.
Pretty awesome that DA and TPG got to be a part of it. Thanks so much to all of them. ❤
And thanks to DA for just being what he can't seem to help being: the wings that lift everything to greater heights.
And kudos to you, Bluesky!!
Several years ago when David was in Chile, I remember the article you wrote for The Voice, when you first introduced us to The Piano Boys. I am paraphrasing but you said that you hoped that one day, David would find them and vice verse and the result would be a beautiful mixing of talent and soul.
Since that article I was hoping right along with you but never expected something of this magnitude. We can call it a Christmas gift or an answered prayer. Either one will work. 🙂
Ahhhh …. if only I could fly to Madrid! That certainly is a beautiful ticket.
But since I can’t, guess what I found when browsing my TV Guide? A “Wondrous Christmas/Archuleta”!! (Naturally, the name instantly caught my eye)
Color me surprised and delighted. 🙂 I’ll be watching the rerun of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performance with none other than the wondrous (they got that part right!) Mr. David Archuleta at noon Central time today on PBS. 🙂
I read a post (translation was not great) by David’s grandpa that said he went with some family to the MOTAB this year. The girls must have spotted David for a picture.
DavidArchuleta.com had a scheduled maintenance today.

Thank you for your patience, from the David Archuleta Official Site web team.
I just watched the Angels from the Realms of Glory on Peter Hollens’ youtube channel and was a bit shocked to see that he edited the video and … at the 2:00 minute mark where David does that incredible part where he blends his voice with the cello, it was made to look like Peter Hollens was singing that part.
Am I being petty? I just think that was so so wrong of him. 😦
MT.. Hum. Not sure what to think of that. DA is not completely edited out, it makes it look more like they were both singing? And… Sometimes they were? But to my own ears, even when I can hear them both singing, I hear DAs voice more clearly – it just carries.
On the other hand, I do know what to think of that pic in 83! I think DA makes it really easy to be a photographer. All you gotta do is point and click. DA takes care of allllll the rest.
I have never understood why Peter Hollens appears to have the lead part in this particular video anyway. The outstanding people who did this original carol are known as David, the MOTAB choir and the bell ringers. It was like move over original/outstanding singer David, someone else is taking the lead this time with the rest who sang with you. Wrong from the start. Beautiful in some ways especially the piano and cello but why push over the singer who was the focal point of the 2010 highly acclaimed production? Very difficult for me to watch in that regard. They don’t really see David. This wouldn’t be the case for any other great singer. All the reasoning set aside, the proof is in the video.
It is so easy yet so sad to understand why so many fans no longer speak. That can not be denied.
MT
I looked at The Piano Guys youtube channel and they have the original. I am thinking Peter Hollens had a different edit and may not be aware of the slight change. His copy has far less views.
My two cents on the video. I think Hollens sang first because his voice is a bit higher than David’s. It sounded right to me. I thought David was featured a lot in the video and was given the most powerful part. If I didn’t know who he was, I would have been looking him up. I thought the video was well done. For it being featured as a Piano Guys video, there was lots of sharing the spotlight.
Actually, I was being facetious. I think the reason the Peter guy was the lead (even though I agree that David’s vocals were highlighted in the hardest singing parts) is because this was a youtubers project. The person that was given the task of the videos music thought of David’s rendition of AFTROG with Motab. Wilberg was contacted, David was contacted and they accepted. Peter has about 500,000 more youtube subscribers than David does though David has a larger presence in social media as a whole. I thought it was brilliant to put it on the Piano Guys youtube because they have 3.4 million subscribers. But Peter has his own following which is probably why the edit on his own channel, it makes sense to me. Though the response to David has been enormous all around and that can’t be a bad thing IMO.
I’m with SB & Ray. They can add a thousand other voices but to us those voices will all be background for David.. David’s voice is the substantial core to which we respond. I enjoy seeing David in these situations, because the larger the performance, the larger David becomes. Whether it is a small intimate gathering or an enormous staged performance David is the focal point and gives exactly what is needed.
Djafan, thanks for reminding us of the need for travel prayers.
Happy Hanukkah!
Scrolling down this thread I always stop at #66 to get the thumbs up from David.
Djafan, you are right. It was a collaboration of “You Tubers”. That is, people who make their living by running a YT channel. TPG’s have the biggest following, so the group decided to channel the video through their site. Why? Because the purpose was to reach the most people with their virtual “Christmas Card”. Not necessarily to drive traffic to their own channel. (I checked and found that Devinsupertramp ((next to TPG in numbers)) did not put it up on his site, only a link on his FB page. The same for Gardiner Sisters, and Shaycarl. I did not see it on the YT for Studio C nor on the MoTab YT site.)
Peter could well have had his own agreement with them and his own version.
As a lot of them have mentioned, they do not often get a chance to tell their subscribers how they feel about the spiritual side of their lives. So they did this all together, (not all are LDS) so that they could have the chance. The major funding was through a non-denom. foundation: Radiant. And LOTS of volunteers.
DA was invited not as a You Tuber, but as someone who sang with the choir, etc. — well, as DA, ha, ha! ^_^
And it was all put together relatively quickly. The quality is fantastic. The spirit wonderful. The singing – pure DA. And… it is now up to over 1,700,000 views.
I feel it was serendipitous that DA got to be in it. Peters voice is higher. But we all know who “owns” it now. ^_^
And I have high hopes that TPG’s Steven (cello) is now completely addicted to the sweet sound of “the Voice” over his left shoulder. You will never get enough, Steve. I know you love your cello, but although you can dress it up and carry it around, it will never be as good looking.
Please take care of David.
Watch over him, protect him from all harm.
Cloak him with your love and give him the strength to endure all that is thrown in his path.
Give David the courage and guidance to say no to those who ask for more than he can reasonably give.
Surround David with loving and supportive people who love him unconditionally as we, his devoted Archangels do.
Separate David from those who have agendas other than for his well being.
Give him rest when he feels weary.
Give him stamina to sustain his hectic pace.
Give him assurance when he feels doubt.
Give him joy when he feels sad and never allow David to feel alone or lonely.
Give us the wisdom to always do right by David.
Help us support David so that it’s always in his best interest.
CLOAK DAVID IN YOUR PROTECTIVE ARMS always and please keep David and his voice healthy & strong as he fulfills his Destiny which was written in his Book of Life before he was born.
Though we may be unworthy Lord, we humbly pray. Amen
David, have a good & restful night’s sleep with sweet & happy dreams. Thank you for all you do and for who you are. Keep with you all our love, support & prayers always. Contigo siempre! We will be with you always! TAKE CARE!
Just for clarification because I think a few people may have misunderstood me. I had no problem with the original video posted to the Piano Guys’ channel. It was beautifully done in every way. It was a shared project and everyone was highlighted, just as it should be.
It was just a few seconds (2:02 – 2:04, video in comment #85) on the one posted on Peter Hollens’ channel that I felt was a little strange. Or maybe I’m just overprotective of David. I wouldn’t like to think someone was taking credit in any way for even a second or two of his glorious vocals. His is a once in a lifetime voice that should be given it’s due, always.
IDK, Maybe it was an accident on Peter’s part. Since I’m the only one who finds it odd, maybe I’m just overly sensitive. Sorry guys.
Thank you for the Hanukkah wishes! Are there any other Hanukkah-celebrating fans out there?
The word “hanukkah” means “dedication” in Hebrew. This holiday commemorates the re-dedication of the holy Temple in Jerusalem following our victory over the Syrians in 165 B.C. We celebrate for eight days by lighting one candle on a candelabra each night, signifying our religious freedom. After the victory, there was a desire to light an “eternal flame” to rededicate the temple but there was only enough oil to last one day. Miraculously, the oil burned for eight days. Hence the eight day celebration.
I’ll be sharing a holiday recipe or two with you in the next week, one that is a particular favorite of my Christian friends, who beg me to fix them this dish every year! Not even kidding!
MT – I just kinda love you! No… I’m with you. I just am trying to think of all the ways this could have happened without it being on purpose. And since there are going to be 2 million hits soon ( over 1,800,000 right now!! ((glee!)) ). I am just so glad that it all happened and that DA could do it.
He is getting world-wide exposure just for being himself. Blessings unlooked for, since he feels he is not ready yet to put forth his own CD. Soon, though. And all of this is not only giving him great exposure, but letting him try his new wings.
(Oh, my gosh! I just got a sudden image of all of those pictures posted years ago of DA with wings. It is like they are all fluttering and getting ready for him to take off. His past angels becoming one with his new angels. Sigh. Okay… bluesky just had a moment. forgive her. *_*)
Bebereader! What a wonderful explanation of Hanukkah! Thank you for sharing that. I love the idea of “rededication”. How appropriate for this time of year. ❤
MT, I agree with you. Just that I can understand why Peter would do what he did. Do I agree, nope. But it is his youtube channel. I think we’re all pretty much on the same page. Whether he did it knowingly or not, but I think knowingly. It’s obvious to me that pointing the camera at him doesn’t make that voice come out of him lol It’s all David 🙂
Bluesky, “And I have high hopes that TPG’s Steven (cello) is now completely addicted to the sweet sound of “the Voice” over his left shoulder. You will never get enough, Steve. I know you love your cello, but although you can dress it up and carry it around, it will never be as good looking.” <<< YES!!!!!!
Abrra, Thank you for posting Silverfox's prayer, it feels good.
Bebe, Thank you for telling us what Hannukah stands for. I can't wait for the recipe!
David being David…. I love him for this.

I hate cancer and the things it does to families. But I’m grateful to those who are helping my cousin have the best last days of her life!:)
Bebe and OliveOil… Happy Hanukkah! Thank you for the explanation. What a beautiful reason for a holiday. ♥ And I’m excited for some recipes!!
The video… I agree with all that’s been said, and mostly the part that reminds us that there is no voice that can overshadow David’s. His voice just is what it is…. beautiful and one of a kind.
Prayers for David’s and Kendra’s very safe travels. Thank you, Abrra, for posting SF’s prayer. I’ve had this travel on my mind of and on all day.
MT, never apologize for backing up David. My only point was that there is no erasing David, either on purpose or inadvertently. We always hear David.
My Sundays have been hectic. The grandkids come and bring their kids and friends. Everybody wants to help grandma and there are all kinds of projects going on. At the end of the day when everyone has gone home, the best thing for me is a little time alone with David at Unplugged. I can watch David and sort out all of the nice things that happened to me during the day. A great place to decelerate.
I wonder if everyone is aware that Abrra often changes the program at Unplugged. If there is something new available, she will have it there. Right now the topic is Christmas and every great David Christmas video is on display. Recent stuff and old stuff, including the highly emotional Oh Holy NIght from SLC after his announcement of the upcoming 2 year mission. You may need ;your Kleenex.
I just came from Unplugged. David was hosting a VIP and playing a couple of requests on stage. He was absolutely in his element. What a fun person. He just needs a stage, an audience and a few instruments around him and he and the stage become one as might be said! What a celebration of music and people. He alone is tremendous for the soul.
Now before I leave for the day he is singing “Silent Night” from the MOTAB cd… Wonderful…I don’t believe that there is a match for that youtubers
Speaking of youtubers and yes, bringing the subject up again, I finally got the chance to watch both AFTROG videos at the 2:00-2:05 mark.
MT, I agree with you! Originally I thought it had to be another cut of the same video but it’s very obvious that the video has been tampered with to make it look like someone else was singing when in fact it was David. I don’t care whose youtube channel it is; IMO, tampering with anything to make oneself look better is deceitful and not the mark of a professional.
Have I told you how awesome you all are lately? Well, you are. ♥
So, isn’t David supposed to be in Europe by now? Is the first fireside tonight? (I admit it. I lost track of his schedule.) Hoping to hear something soon from across the big pond. 🙂
SB, There isn’t a match with youtubers, or any other singer out there with David, he is in a league of his own. And what Peter did is not kosher so I won’t have anything to do with him. Though he does have a fan base, I wonder what they thought of the edit.
Bebe, It was obvious to me from the get go. That was David’s voice with Peter’s face, so obvious.
MT, He may be in France by now.
Found these tweets 🙂 Some in French 🙂
I AM GOING TO SEE @DavidArchie TOMORROW OIZGHZOIGHZGIGHOIZHGPIO

Just wanted to let you guys know in case it happens to you.

This can only bode well for his recognition among many of him that may not know of him or haven’t heard him recently.
I was blessed to be at Motab thanks to Angelica and SandyBeaches. I was able to attend Saturdays and Sundays shows. There is no comparison in my opinion to David, surprise! haha David is a solo artist, his voice stands alone even in collaboration with others. huge collaboration. That said, his voice @ 2:00 kills me. The Glorias.
p.s. I am listening to the radio today and right now Josh Groban’s O Holy Night is playing. I imagine that if I hadn’t heard David sing it,

We gotta have more of this, just saying….
Be ready.

Honestly.

Merry Christmas too!

Just saying.

Just in case David and Kendra travel today.
Silverfox’s prayer is always comforting.
Dear Lord,
Please take care of David.

Blessings to David in his travels today!

And I am so glad you are you. Never change.
