TODAY is the release day for The Nashville Tribute Band new album release “REDEEMER: A NASHVILLE TRIBUTE TO JESUS CHRIST” They will be having an album release party in Orem, Utah at Deseret Book University Village 7pm. They will be playing a few songs and rumor has it that they may have a surprise guest. Is it possible? I hope so. I’ve seen on twitter that many David Archuleta fans will be going so we may get pictures and praying for video!
The album is charting on itunes! David Archuleta has writing credits on song #13, When The Son Of Man Comes Again which is the most purchased single on the album!

Big names contribute to Nashville Tribute Band’s new ‘Redeemer’ album
In less than 10 years, The Nashville Tribute Band has released four albums and performed over 1,000 shows on three continents, but this week it will release what it considers its most important project so far.
The album, titled “Redeemer,” is about the life and mission of Jesus Christ and will be released Tuesday, Nov. 4. It will be available through Deseret Book and features guest performances from David Archuleta, Alex Boye, Diamond Rio, Katherine Nelson, Nathan Pacheco, SheDaisy and more.

David’s voice truly sounds amazing on this song ** At the beginning those first few notes…. it suddenly occurred to me, people who maybe haven’t heard him for a few years, won’t recognize that it’s David Archuleta.(Maybe its because I hadn’t had my first cup of coffee yet,but it even took me a couple seconds!) lol
This is the first time I have heard the complete song, and all the identifiable D nuances we love♥ shine through.
Simply gorgeous vocals.
….now,about the color of those peepers of his..:D

I already had the download version, because they let it out early. But I have now ordered the CD. I like to have a copy I can hold in my hand. ^_^
And I look forward to hearing Alex, etc. on the other songs. This should be fun!

I was finally able to buy the song. 🙂
I have a question. I listened to it and I noticed something. (Something besides the fact that his voice so beautiful in it. 😉 )
We’ve always discussed the sound of his voice on recordings vs. his live singing. Live singing has pretty much always won. On this song, does it sound to anyone besides me like he’s incorporating more of those licks and runs in his recorded music? More of those little special moments? It’s like he’s recording with a more spontaneous sound. Either that or he’s learned some new tricks. LOL I hope he continues to do it in all of his new music because I really like it.
I hope what I’m saying makes sense. I’m not too sure if that really gets my point across but I hope you know what I mean. Did anyone else find something different about the way he sang it?

I purchased Son of Man from iTunes this morning and have been enjoying it so much. Then I read David’s words in his instagram — he is so humble, so sincere and feels so privileged to sing about the Saviour — well, I was compelled to return to iTunes and complete the album. I am really enjoying all of it. Thank you, David — you are so very special.

Stenocruiser… me too. After attending the Deseret Book event tonight, I can see/feel why David said what he did about this album. These men have put their souls into this music and it was palpable there tonight. Jason Deere has done one fantastic job with his writing and producing on this album. He’s funny, too! I can see why David had such a good time with him. Alex Boye was incredible. I’m quite often not a really big fan of some of his music, but this was just incredible. And, when I say not a fan of some of his music, I am in no way dis-crediting his amazing voice. Yes, I will be purchasing the entire album tomorrow at Deseret Book (I want the physical cd). The lines were long tonight and I didn’t want to stand in any of them.

I downloaded the song a few weeks ago when it came out. Then I ordered the album from Amazon, but haven’t rec’d it yet. Got to hear a 1:30 snippit of each one of the songs from an email I got from Deseret Books. Can’t wait to get the album to hear the whole songs! So proud of David and glad that everything he is doing is working out…he just keeps getting better and better and I don’t know how he does it. 🙂 🙂 🙂

I hear you loud and clear. It almost sounds live in Glorious and Son of Man. So yes that video is a small taste of what’s to come.

DA is a “light-astronaut”. Always searching for greater “light-worlds” to expand within. Sometimes, I think he travels at “light-speed” when he sings.
Kinda “out-of-this-world”.
But then, we would not feel a connection to that if we did not also long for, yield to, and crave “light”.

My granddaughter called me from Bath and Body Works to tell me that David was singing one of his Christmas songs. She said she didn’t know what song it was but she could tell it was him because he has that distinctive voice! Yes, he does! ♥ 🙂

Since David arrived home from his mission, it’s been like “Where Waldo?” Thank goodness for fan videos. By the way, I am so happy about Archie Radio!! What a gift to the fans around the world. I wonder if David is going from Pop Artist to Gospel singing? I love watching him perform his Pop music.
A recently returned, female, missionary told me that she saw David twice on “Temple Square, Salt Lake, Utah”. He was with, what looked to be, investigators, showing them around and what looked to be teaching. Her companion wanted to run up to him but the missionaries were told not to interfere and draw attention away from his guest. Her companion is a huge fan of David’s so it was really difficult but she did make eye contact with him which thrilled her to no end. My friend, the other missionary, didn’t really know much about David so I gave her a couple CD’s. A week later, I saw her at church and she ran up to me and told me how excited she is about David’s music. She didn’t know much of his story so I will give her the book, next. What fun it is to be a David fan!!!
