I went to Wynona’s concert in Laughlin, NV on July 5th. She sounds just like she did 20 yrs ago! Hope I can hear David sing for another 20 or 30 yrs! 🙂

The MV somehow makes this song just a little more special to me. I guess it’s like seeing him live in a way. Seeing him sing it is absolutely mesmerizing. It’s almost hypnotic, watching and listening to him sing. Once you start, it’s hard to stop replaying it.

I looked at the end shots and he does do that but the camera angle cuts a lot of top of his head.

I really liked it for a day and have now graduated to loving it.
I just realized something this morning.
Two months ago tomorrow, I improbably survived a car accident. EVERY thing about it screams HOW? I still think and wonder how, every day.
The nurses, doctors, state troopers, insurance companies, friends, family, coworkers – everyone tells me how lucky I am, and don’t I know that.
I drove off the highway at 70 mph, unconscious, missing everything. Missing driving off a bridge. Other cars. The guardrail. Trees.
I guess what I’m saying is that I am so glad I am here today and get to listen to David sing such a beautiful song.
I have to go cry now about how happy I am today. ♥
Sorry to get so personal, I really had to get that out.

So many views! I will admit that I watch the video at least ten times a day as maybe most fans do, but where are these other views coming from? I notice names on David’s Twitter timeline that I never noticed before. Could be new fans!? I also notice in some of the comments that the song is both uplifting and makes people cry. That is the cha-ruth!

NOTE: You know it is a DA vid/music/performance (whatever!) when EVERY time you watch it, it just gets better. And, I noticed that he played it very “understated”. He was “playing” to the audience, to the story, the message, to the people in the vid. Not as giving a performance. He sang to magnify the message, not himself. (as he often does)

Hi all,
I have been out of town but have been following “Glorious”. I have certainly helped “up the count” for sure. I think it is a wonderful song for David. The lightness and breathiness of the those octave jumps is in such beautiful contrast to the power and intensity he shares at the 2 minute mark while never over singing it. I think it is such a tribute to his musicality and, of course, his amazing voice. Do wish it was longer and he was able to let the music “build” and stay up there a bit longer. Maybe he can do another version of it later that doesn’t need to follow the confines of the movie. So nice to have music to get excited about 🙂

Just a little note… Our temps in North Texas finally dropped from sweltering, to nice and cool yesterday ..so I took my coffee outdoors,and sat out on my 3rd floor patio… early morning in a nice breeze.Had my headphones and phone and stood at the railing listening to GLORIOUS .
as I was listening,I looked down and there were maybe 6 to 8 beautiful Monarch butterflies flying all around…. below me,…..casting little shadows on the grass as they flitted about in the sunlight….. Glorious! Just put a huge smile on my face.
Listening to David’s singing as I watched them, well, it was like a symphony♥ thats all…

Today was haircutting day again. Four Elders got their hair cut. One was a new one in this area, but has served for 20 months. They are great guys!
