Hi everyone,
I have been out of town and sick (not a good combination) but want to add my excitement to the Cd coming out. I just love the last part of Don’t Run Away,,, about 3:00 on to the end. I can just imagine David doing his thing in concert with it.
It will be so great to have so many of my favorites on this wonderful Cd.

The video is like David, innocent and without ulterior motives. It is fresh air for the music industry.
Sorry if I’m too abrupt to move to another topic.
All my life I have been cautious, patient, obedient and followed the rules set by me and by society, but David showed me that once we get out of our comfort zone.
But before I take a step, I get the following questions:
Someone will be hurt?
Someone will be offended?
Someone thinks I’m so important to be the center of any discussion?
The answer is always NO. I’m just a grain of sand that lives in Argentina, and God sent David to a country next to mine.
Perhaps the answer is not right, “I break the rules because I want out of my comfort zone”
The appropriate response is to live with the decisions I take.
(I hope my English is understandable.)

Right when we think things might slow down some, wham we get another surprise. All these things happening without David here. We know what a hard working genius he is, just imagine what is yet to come when he returns.
Warning…have tissues near by when you get your album and begin to read David’s message. I saw a couple of quotes from Japanese fans and they are in tears (itunes download available for them). Who’s staying up tonight???

I got 6 CD’s today, from WOW and Best Buy! Won’t get the 4 from get Amazon until next week, but I’m loving the pics and the thank you’s from our guy! I’m ready for my gifting duties! 😉 Also love the video. It’s a great concept and something completely different. Kylie did a fantastic job and wow, all the time she put into the video I hope she got a sizable paycheck! 🙂 So nice of her to give us the details on making it.
Haven’t been commenting, but I have been able to squeeze in some time to read the posts and stream the album on the different sites. Thanks dja for all the website info and the reminders on voting and such. My ‘me’ time is very limited. Just got my mom out of the hospital again yesterday. I’ve been pretty busy just taking care of her and my other obligations. Life seems crazy right now, but I’m so glad for David, his music, and his fansites. It gives me a little peace at the end of these crazy, busy days to come here and catch up on the happenings. At the end of the day his voice is my elixir of choice for getting to sleep. It works every time!
So, I’d like to give one big THANK YOU to all the admin’s, writer’s and all those who post comments here. You are all absolutely wonderful! Mucho Gracias!

MT your download should start automatically if you’ve pre-ordered it. And in the past it’s been midnight Eastern time…. so here in Utah I usually get it sometime after 10 pm… 🙂

There is a digital booklet that came with the iTuens download and a few pics plus the liner notes.
But my pics in the digital booklet are covered in blue (except the middle one), and when I copy it, it removes the blue but then they come out in black and white. Hmmm…
Oh, and if it’s possible, I think HFO sounds even better on the iTunes version. 🙂

Rooster, I do see a 13 in the city lights in Don’t Run Away. Maybe the year now or an homage to the a-ha video. The police after the boy had 13 on his helmet. But then, I tend to over-analyze. lol. One of the symptoms of ODD.

What a good day! Happiness all around. Great to see David on the charts. Could not get itunes version from my computer to my iphone or my ipod. yuck. Went to Walmart early this morning and there was a lovely display. Gave them my money, since Amazon just sent me a notice that they had shipped yesterday and I have yet to hear from WOW. Thinking I will amble over to Deseret Book and see how that looks. Good to be going anywhere in the car, for that is where the music is best for me.

Well, I got home and no CD!

Was able to take my little netbook to work and I streamed NMHF all day long. So all the customers got to hear it too. Then I came home and got my 2 from Sears and 2 from Best Buy!! Whoo hoo!! There was one catch…I had to go to a memorial for a lady from church, so I had to put off listening for awhile. But turned it up and listened all the way home! Had to sit in the car to finish it off!! Boy, there is some good bass there! 🙂

Ever before NBC aired “The Voice,” Murray native David Archuleta had The Voice on another TV singing competition, and that is why he isn’t going away quietly, even as he is in the midst of a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chile. Archie’s new album “No Matter How Far” features a mix of newly recorded material (before he left on his mission) and previously unreleased tracks, with the latter essentially meaning songs that his team didn’t like enough to release the first time around. But that is what makes this album surprisingly rewarding — Archuelta’s two non-Christmas albums tried to position him as a traditional dance-floor-destined pop star, rather than play to his strengths as an emerging songwriter and talented interpreter of adult-contemporary ballads. Archie’s supposed left-overs showcase him at his best. Plus, two of the songs are co-written by Joy Williams of The Civil Wars, so if you want new music with her fingerprints on it, you better look here.

Been out of the loop for the past few days with the Passover holiday. Just catching up on all the goodies here. So happy that many of you have your cds! Mine is due to arrive tomorrow from Amazon, fingers crossed! I didn’t have a chance to check my Itunes on my other computer to do the cd download. That’s how far behind I am! Can’t wait to read the liner notes for myself, even though our resident Birthday Girl was kind enough to read them to me over the phone. 🙂
David is such a sweetheart; his spirit comes through in his words, assuring us that he will be back to do music!

6) Lack of compelling contestants. The women this year are truly talented. All five of them are good to great. But the guys, while some can sing competently, are Lunesta in the personality department. There isn’t a quirky Casey Abrams type or gutsy Adam Lambert in the mix. Nobody is bringing in the types of fervent fans that, say, David Archuleta did. “Idol” kept Zoanette Johnson around as long as they could because she has a crazy personality but ultimately, too unhinged on the singing side.

Most of his complaints were of peripheral nature, like unhappy with the stage decorations (who cares?), and too much bass (I thought so too), He grades all cd’s on the low side. I am happy with a “B” from him.

Just wondering what happened to the post that DJA posted today (Wed) at 6:25 pm. It came up on my email and I got on my desktop and watched the 24 min video by McKenzie. I was puzzled when no comments came up and when I rechecked the site, the post is gone! Am I going nuts or what? Can’t be, the email is still on my phone. 🙂

Well, made my rounds to the local stores yesterday: 2 Best Buys, 2 Barnes and Noble, both had NMHF, yay! But none at WalMart or Target yet. The very nice sales lady at B&N told me how popular it must be since I had bought the last one by noon so she promised to make sure they restocked ’cause I warned her that a lot of people would be looking for it! 🙂
