American Idol Season 7 Runner-up and international artist David Archuleta releases “Forevermore”, a collection of classic Filipino love songs translated into English and composed by some of the Philippines’ renowned songwriters, such as Ogie Alcasid, Louie Ocampo, Jay Durias, Jimmy Antiporda and Cecil Azarcon.
This month Ivory Music & Video is launching the album’s second single “I’ll Never Go,” originally done by the now-defunct band Nexxus.
Archuleta’s fans and followers can exclusively watch the worldwide music video premiere of “I’ll Never Go” on SUNDAY, JUNE 24, 2012, 8:00 PM Manila Time on this page. Everybody can now watch the teaser at the video box below.
“Forevermore,” released last March, is Archuleta’s last album before his 2-year break from the music industry to embark on an important spiritual mission. Hi all,
Watching I’ll never go” in HD .. what can I say the simplicity of it make David stands out in this video, I know he tried to make us understand and comfort us that he’s always be here with us but mannn…I don’t know!!! may be the reality just started to sink in for me, I feel a bit sad watching it but happy for him nontheless, on the lighter note I can’t help but smile when he sat on the bed his legs just dangling there …so adorable 🙂

My friend and neighbor Brent passed away from Cancer in Feb. He was only 49. Brents family and Davids family are friends. Brent was always teasing me with little tidbits about David and he loved to do this. I miss him and his teasing but this morning when I saw the video “I’ll Never Go” I thought of my friends Brent and Susana. Before David left on his mission he told Susana and her daughter that he prayed for them and would continue to think of them and pray for them. So I posted the video on her page on facebook this morning with the message..”Brent is not far away from you”!
At church Susana came up to me…gave me a big hug and said I believe my Brent is not far away from me and this song this morning let me know that he is so close to me. She felt as if David was telling her that “Her Love” was not far away from her. She hugged me again and thanked me for the video.
I have been thinking that this video is one that can help so many in whatever their circumstances are. It helps us knowing that the door is left open and David will be back. It helps Susana knowing that “Her Love” is not far away and it can be a love song for many others facing the times they might be apart from each other. I just love the whole song and video.
David is good to us and he is not far away from us either.

David was on TV tonight in the 25th Anniversary show repeat, singing Imagine. I got goose bumps seeing and hearing him singing that wonderful message at such a young age.

Bebe…#22…This is another friend. The one he sang Happy Birthday to is Brett Hales wife. I think Brett is doing well.
Brent lived very close to me. He was an inspiration to so many during his struggles with this thing called cancer. He fought with an attitude that was so admirable. He said several times that “he was not going to complain and whine because it doesn’t do any good anyway and it only makes others sad.” David did mention Brent in one of his blogs tho. He mentioned going to see one of their family friends when he was at home for a short time. The family friend was Brent and his family. Brent felt so special when he heard that David had even mentioned visiting his family..
Living in the Salt Lake Vally I sometimes hear very cool things about David and things he has done without many people hearing about the good he does. I just shake my head, smile and feel grateful that I am one of his fans. He is one in a million.

I have been out of the loop for a few weeks. After a weeks vacation, it just seemed like I couldn’t get caught up. Not really caught up yet, but have a little time to leave a comment now. I love the new album, just because it’s David and it was another gift from him. I will cherish every little thing he has set up for us, he is so thoughtful. On the lighter side, I love his shoes! And Dayzee, I spied some really good neck pictures in those scream caps!♥

Hello! I just watched the ING MV. I love it! It’s simple but with a lot of emotion put into the song by David. With the limited amount of time David had in the Philippines, he just amazes me knowing he did all this work for his fans. Will forever be grateful to him for caring. We definitely are one lucky bunch!
Has anybody else noticed that the release of MVs come in sequence as the minus one tracks in the Forevermore album? First – “Forevermore”, second – “I’ll Never Go”, and third – a buzz about a MV for “Rainbow”. I really do hope for a third one!

David Archuleta is back and we couldn’t be more excited!
The 21-year-old soul singer (and “American Idol” season seven runner-up) has just released a new music video for his sensational new love song, “I’ll Never Go,” and this might be Archie’s best song yet!
The new ballad, which is sure to get tons of radio airplay this summer (it’s HOT!), is off David’s fourth studio album “Forevermore,” a collection of original Filipino love songs. (The video for “I’ll Never Go” was filmed in Manila, Philippines).
Archuleta has been out of the spotlight in recent months. In December, the half-Honduran singer surprised his fans with the announcement that he was putting his music career on hold to embark on a two-year Mormon mission. Then in March, David had another surprise for his fans: he announced he was cutting his Bieber-esque locks in favor of a more conservative look. “Just about to go get my haircut for my mission. You have to keep it short and clean, and nicely cut, so I’m going to go do that now,” the singer said at the time.
“Forevermore,” is already available at music stories in the Phillipines and available for digital download here.

David Archuleta released on Sunday the official music video for “I’ll Never Go,” one of the tracks off his fourth studio album, Forevermore, available exclusively in the Philippines.
The low-key video, which was filmed in Manila, features a somber-looking Archuleta singing in his bedroom as he, perhaps ironically, packs up his suitcase to leave his house.
Released on March 26, the album features cover songs of popular Filipino songs.
Last December, while at the Salt Lake City, UT, stop of his My Kind of Christmas tour, Archuleta announced to a crowd of 2,000-plus fans that he would be putting his music career on hold to complete a Mormon mission.

David Archuleta releases a music video in support of his latest offering “I’ll Never Go”. The song is taken from his fourth studio album “Forevermore”, a collection of all original Filipino classic love songs.
The CD has been in stores since spring. “I wouldn’t say that I sound better than the original singers because the singers here are so amazing. But I would hope that I could pay tribute to them with this album,” Archuleta once said.
In addition, the 2008 runner-up of “American Idol” is preparing a new album called “BEGIN.”. He re-records singles by such artists as Christina Aguilera, Sarah McLachlan, Cyndi Lauper and U2 for the effort. Among the cover songs, there is one new material called “Broken” which he wrote himself.

The music video for David Archuleta’s new single “I’ll Never Go” from his OPM-album Forevermore premiered today in the Philippines.
OPM, or Original Pilipino Music, refers to pop songs–particularly ballads from the late 70s on–made famous by some of the country’s most popular singers.
The album is available at major music stores in the Philippines, and at MyMusicStore.com.ph for digital download.
Although David is away on a Mormon mission in Chile, he’s got plenty of music to keep his fans happy. On August 7, BEGIN, an album of covers is set for release, and you can pre-order it NOW at DavidArchleta.com.

David definitely has a part of ‘our’ soul and, wherever he is, he’ll never be far from us. We recently celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in UT and our daughter really surprised me, when she played the “Forevermore” CD during the dinner….unforgettable! This helped to ease the sad thought/emptiness that I felt during our time in Salt Lake….no concert to go to! Can hardly wait till 2014!

Lynne ( SB) I received my bracelet and card also, and am very tardy in saying a big Thank You–The card is framed and sitting on my dresser–and of course the bracelet is where it belongs–very close to me.
A small rant……some comments on the song– I’ll Never Go– are driving me grrrr-azy–why don’t people investigate what they are listening to? Not all songs are auto-tuned “pop” songs, but then, maybe some people don’t know that there are such things as ” love songs” , maybe they haven’t even heard one before…but still form the opinion that it’s boring.

I have been spending my time these last few days with one of my closest and dearest friends while she has undergone a surgery abd gad me so worried. Her name is Mya and has been with us for 12 years. She listens to David with me often, very often. She came home today and so happy to be back and doing awesome! She is my dear lab of course. Time for a little late night music!

Before I go I wanted to mention something.
You may have noticed that I had added the word “Una” to the quote and it is not in the line I quoted from CELD which read …”You have become part of my soul (or heart)”. I thought that it did not have us in the right light in his life and that ‘part’ alone sounded like too much. In the song the two people in love are just that, two people obviously in love. So I added ‘a’ making it just a little smaller portion. Also David said back to us that we are ‘a’ part of his heart as well (not all he said).
Anyway, I just wanted you to know that!
