Singing sensation David Archuleta announces his much-anticipated MY KIND OF CHRISTMAS Tour for the winter of 2011: The tour kicks off in Westbury, NY on December 1, and concludes in Beaver Creek, CO on December 21. David’s MY KIND OF CHRISTMAS Tour will feature epic orchestral arrangements of both traditional holiday and familiar classics, as well as an assortment of David’s own, melodic pop favorites. The tour promises to showcase more of David’s unique musicality and vocal prowess that his fans have come to love. David has also partnered with VIP Nation to offer VIP Packages on his upcoming tour, including meet & greets and exclusive merchandise.

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know if you are trying to buy tickets to the Santa Rosa WellsFargo Center, I bought mine through their website. You get to pick your own seats! I bought three 5th row seats! much better than ticketmaster! I don’t know if it is up at Ticketmaster. i did not see tickets on sale, just the VIPs
Yesterday you had to be a member so I signed up, it was free then it let me buy tickets, I think now it is open to the public.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Not everyone wants to go the VIP route or take a chance on Ticketmaster. Simply calling the venue and speaking to them about what you need is a great solution. It sure worked for you!

Checking out Abravenal Hall brings back memories from MOTAB when we stayed across the street at the Plaza Hotel…so great.
This year I am also going to SLC for the Christmas concert at Abravenal Hall. Was going to stay at the Plaza hotel again but Dayzee offered me to stay at her house and that is such a nice thing for her to do. Going out on Sat and coming home on Tues. Wanted to get my moneys worth from my airfare! ha Still looking for a good price, tho! Heidi Joy is going and maybe another one of her friends. We are all going to meet and have lunch or dinner, but no plans have been made as yet. Hope to meet up with all the fans that I have met that will be there.

Getting excited for the MKOC tour. Have VIP for Abravanel Hall, Salt Lake City. Plan to get together with Jan11, Dayzee, Louise and anyone else who wants to meet with us. I’m planning to fly in Saturday and head back to the Midwest Tuesday. I hope to attend the Spoken Word Sunday if I get a ticket. May be looking for volunteers to hit the lottery since that is Motab weekend. Still hoping something shows up in the Midwest too. Never saw CFTH due to snow storm in Minnesota. (flight was cancelled and concert was cancelled) I was fortunate to have attended Motab last Christmas and have been reliving that experience watching the GCT DVD. Just got back from a birthday party where I gifted the CD/DVD to a friends grandson who is in a Choral group and has turned 18. He said he would be showing it to his choral group and family during the Holiday season.

I’ll be going to LA Nokia VIP and moshing with granddaughter (14) per her request. This will be her first time meeting David 🙂 So I’m officially on the David Archuleta Tour Diet lol thank you Marlie for the name! And I’ll also be going to Anaheim regular seating and thinking about Ventura….

Djafan and Angelica, Cool article! Now we have an official place to talk about the MKOC Tour. I have tickets for Westbury, first show on tour. Looking forward to meeting new fans and old friends at this show. Looks like we’re going to have a nice size crowd! As for the setlist, I’m so looking forward to the MoTab songs, “Los Pastores a Belen” and “Cat and Mouse Tale”. And of course the Asian Tour songs…I hope those songs can be released in the US before MKOC Tour. Certainly there’s time, riiiiight?

Hello everyone!!!!! I have had a crazy busy week, waited & waited & waited for a midwest date that still hasn’t happened so….I am going to New York!!!!! I am going to the 1st two shows. *faints*
FYI, there is a venue sponsored VIP at Irving Plaza which supposedly allows for front of line access and a special VIP balcony area. The venue told me that you can choose to be on the floor if you wish. Contrary to what folks are saying, the venue told me that THERE ARE NO SEATS anywhere, not even in VIP balcony. A few people have called them and they have gotten other information about time of entry, VIP areas, so I am holding off and trying to call the Manager on Monday just to clarify what I am getting for my extra $20. All the people that have answered the phone have said that there will be a separate VIP early entry line, and that we will get in 1st. That is worth the $20 for sure! Once I get more info, I’ll post it.
I cannnnnnnot wait to see New York, David, and meet some fans! 🙂 *faints*

My youngest daughter is flying in to New York with me to see David for the first time in Westbury! I am asking you to please be on your best behavior as a David fan…that leaves the fun wide open! She will have my VIP seat and I am moving out of the VIP area. She said, “I am sitting by myself?” I said, “when you are with them, you are definately not alone”!!

Dayzee, Heidijoy, Jans11…I really hope to meet up with you at SLC VIP. Dayzee knows me . I am, what my son says is vertically challenged..short…so I’m not hard to spot. I will, of course, have my hubby with me (David fan for sure), and my daughter and her 2 kids (first time meeting David). I want them to be able to meet you and you them. My daughter and her daughter were with me at the fan luncheon in Provo for SOF in July, but she was not feeling well, so she had a hard time with all that was going on. My heart just starts skipping beats when I think of meeting David again, but it flat out bursts when I think of her and my gkids meeting David. They have been fans forever. So, hubby and I will only be doing 1 show this time around since we decided to do VIP’s for all of us. It was kind of funny when the other morning he asked me if there were still tickets to the Cedar City show. I looked at him kind of in shock, then he said we probably better not. 😉

Tawna21, everytime we get to talking about the concert, I get all revved up again!! lol I try and keep calm and go on with my every day life, but it just doesn’t work!! It is just so exciting! It will be so good to meet you too, and see Dayzee again and hope to meet up with Shawna and Patti again too. Haven’t heard if they’re going to the concert or not. And Heidi Joy, Louise and Maggy that I met at MOTAB!
Glad your family are going, it will be so much fun! I’m sure we’ll all know each other when we get to VIP.
Heidi Joy, have you found a good air fare yet? The only non-stop is Delta and the price hasn’t budged. Will keep checking. Is your friend going to be going too? This is going to be awesome!

Thanks Djafan for collating these. Would like to give Marciami and all those that organized the lunch last year during Motab a SHOUTOUT AND THANKS. Because the organizers had people list where they were from, I met another fan from Iowa. Grateful4all_DA (Carol) and I will be heading to Salt Lake City Dec 17 and be staying at the Plaza. We hope to see Motab Sunday morning if we get tickets and will have free time until David’s concert Dec. 19th. We decided to add Beaver Creek,Colorado to our plans and will be heading there Dec 20 via Denver. David’s concert is Dec.21. We’ll head back to Iowa Dec.22. Plan to see Jan11 and hope to meet Dayzee,Tawna and anyone else going. Carol was there last year with her husband and two adult children, but managed to make it to the luncheon. They’ll keep the home fires burning this year. I think I’ll give Christmas presents out at Thanksgiving when I’m with the family. ha! My nephew is praying for more snow in Vail(he’s a snowboarder who lives in Denver and I’m hoping for less snow the week we are there. If anyone wants to register for Motab tickets to increase our chances, we’d appreciate it. Registration started today and I put in a request. We’ll see. Thanks again Marciami and The Voice gals that have and are assisting fans to meet. Bless you all.

I will be at the Ventura concert on the 16th. I am going with my daughter who has to work that day from 8 a.m. to 7pm. Then we have to hope she doesn’t have any emergencies (she is a vet).
