I went onto the RSO site and you can donate any amount you want to and say that David inspired that donation. So if everyone helps a little it will go along way! David is a blessing. I really appreciate all that he has done this past year. It has taken great courage and integrity and I have the utmost respect for him. I know he will continue to do many great things. His music has helped me in difficult and happy times and his example gives me hope and motivation to do good. So….. I am grateful!

First, I want to say how surprised and flattered I am to see not just one of my quotes but two, front & center on the side bar AND the main article. I feel like my “name” is up in lights! Thank you Angelica!
Secondly, I was excited to hear David may soon be recording more music! That is one of the reasons we are here, after all. To hear The Voice. To hear David do what he was born to do. To hear him SING. That he is so much more than just The Voice is a bonus. So yes, if it’s true & he will be recording new music soon, I could not be happier! Can I just suggest that David forget about not having the life experiences to sing about certain subjects and remind him that he can sing about anything in any genre and he will drive us “Senseless”, so just sing, David!

I’ve been away for a bit, but I’m trying to catch up, so much news from the trip to India.
Angelica, Love both posts and all of the comments. David does indeed have a great fan base. But I guess that’s not surprising considering why we are all here, whom we are following. The generosity from his fans and the outpouring of love for him is wonderful to see.
Love the bright shining penny heart, made with love. ❤ And Abrra’s reference to “The Wizard of Oz,” so right. And SF’s quote, I’m sure she’s right. They will never for get him just as he will never forget them.
Both David’s blog and the photos were really touching. I am so impressed with a man who is so young, and yet has so much love and compassion for his fellow man. Just like Angelica’s pennies, he has a bright and shining heart. Every now and then, I almost forget he can sing. (But only for a second. 🙂 ) There is so much more to him than just his voice.
I’m also really sad to hear that Snarky’s is closing, but I’m really glad to see the reassurance that this site isn’t going anywhere. ❤

When I saw the video of David, after his trip to India, I saw something that surprised me greatly. David was not the same, David has grown, I think this trip was a point of incision in his life, he spoke about his life and not his career.
David just smiled almost at the end of the video, but during the video I just saw tired and much pleasure, had not wrinkled forehead, there were no bags under his eyes. And there was a very serene peace and brightness in those beautiful eyes.
In the first photos taken during the event, posing, hugging and hugging him too, saw his smile, but it was a smile of commitment, I acknowledge when I see it. David had a half-smile and raised his cheeks, that’s called fatigue.
We know that David has always been a very polite man and when he has a commitment, he fulfills it. But when I saw the pictures of David next to people with leprosy (David was not posing) and his hands touched the sick people, his eyes had peace, serenity, kindness. No words can describe the whole feeling that I saw there.
David always says that singing is a gift that God gave him and therefore wants to share it with us. But I think, that his real happiness is helping people, his true passion in life is to be a misionero. en anywhere in the world. His real journey to India began when he visited, and helped these people with leprosy.
With this trip I realized that David has made great decisions. I have to say, big changes are coming from David.
On a different topic, I know that David has gone to the studio to record. I’ve told you, I have contacted through facebook Alfredo and I suggested to listen to the lyrics of Carlos Gardel (is a tango ) El dia que me quieras, but the bolero version of Luis Miguel. I hope this suggestion reaches David.

bebe, I already knew what is blood orange, we have it in Philippines, we called it grapefruit, it taste bittersweet, it’s taste good. David mentioned in twitter that leaving India is bittersweet, then that blood orange symbolized his experience ha ha! I never knew that grapefruit was blood orange that David mentioned, because what we have is not as reddish as he picture lol.
Skydancer, David eyelashes is so long and those hazel eyes, so beautiful, it mesmerized, and his lips is kind of pinkish. I saw him upclose , David look like an angel , glowing.
Happy for David that he will go back to studio for recording. Hope he have concert tour all over the world.

In everything David does, you can see the love of God flowing through him. It puts me in mind of an Andre Crouch song from the 1970’s. Here’s a link to it on YouTube:
Even though David wasn’t there to heal the lepers physically, I think he made an impact on their emotional well being. They had to feel his love for them, and you could tell by the smiles on their faces that they loved him right back and were thankful that he was there, washing their feet.
What an amazing young man.

And why do I find it totally puzzling and at the same time amazing and wonderful that David’s non-Latino, non-Spanish speaking fans are as excited and over the moon thinking of a Spanish album by David as his Hispanic/Latino fans are?
It’s further proof that even if you can’t understand the lyrics, it’s the WAY David “musically translates” the lyrics which allows the listeners to FEEL the lyrics even if they can’t understand the lyrics. We don’t call David a musical genius or THE VOICE for nothing. It’s a talent that many, even the most successful singers NEVER achieve. But with David, it’s a natural, effortless talent.
How lucky (& smart) are we to be fans of David Archuleta?

I’m sorry if I’ve offended you by posting the Andre Crouch video. I didn’t see that comment of yours until after I had posted mine. That song just kept coming to me after seeing David with the lepers. He’s just so loving and kind to everyone, no matter who.

No, of course you didn’t offend me. Andre Crouch is great. Today was just one of those days when I started started watching videos of David and got caught up in his vortex like I was intoxicated by his performances and how good he is live and I just wanted to show EVERYBODY! I find it incredibly sad for David’s fans who have yet to see & hear David live, so videos of David are the next best thing. And for his fans who have seen The Voice perform live, we go through withdrawals. Like me today.
There are some really good artists & performers out there to be sure. Today, like most days, heck, like EVERY day, I just happened to think David outshines them all. Crazy, no?
So no, you did not offend me at all. In fact, I hope I didn’t offend anyone with MY comment. 🙂

There are so many wonderful songs out there, and everytime I hear one like the Andre Crouch song, I just think how good it would be to hear David sing it. Evening everyone! Love the David videos posted, especially that Zero Gravity. My son was addicted to that song after he heard David sing it in concert. As soon as we got to the car, the first two things he said were, “How could they not put ZG on the album? That’s an amazing song.” and “I thought that girl next to me had set fire to herself when she started screaming.” She scared the behoozits out of me, too.
Someone is going to have to medicate me if we don’t get tour news/any news soon….

bebe, oh I see! blood orange and grapefruit are different, so I have to look again if we have this blood orange in our country, I haven’t seen one as blood color inside as that. Orange here in Philippines are rampant especially it’s lunar new year but not blood orange 😦
Lynnelle # 62 your description of David is exactly what he is. He really have a large hand lol, but very soft and his arms too very soft. I was able to touch his arm last time when I softly called his name, since I was on his side not on his front haha! Then he turn around flash those bright smile to me and greet Hi!. I saw him twice already in person but still missing him lol. He is a humble person and he has a good memory , he will recognized you the second time around you meet him.
