    David James Archuleta (born December 28, 1990) is an American singer-songwriter and actor. At ten years old, he won the children's division of the Utah Talent Competition leading to other television singing appearances.[6] When he was twelve years old, Archuleta became the Junior Vocal Champion on Star Search 2.[6] In 2007, at sixteen years old, he became one of the youngest contestants on the seventh season of American Idol.[7] In May 2008 he finished as the runner-up, receiving 44 percent of over 97 million votes.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh……

Out of respect for those who will not be able to obtain their copy of  “Chords of Strength” for several days, we are asking that everyone refrain from discussing the book on this site till June 1st.  Praising the book is OK, but no specific comments or disclosures, please.  This of course includes no posting of portions of the book, (photos or passages.)
It is after all, a conversation firstly between David and the reader.  “It’s just you and me.”  Let’s respect that personal time between him and individual fans.

For those who are interested, we will be holding a book club chat for “Chords of Strength” this Thursday night, May 27th at 9pm EST on the Voice Unplugged.  This is for all who have received the book by then and would like to discuss it.  If you do not want to hear spoilers, please do not come to chat that night.  After June 1st, ready or not, we are making our voices heard on The Voice regarding David’s memoir.  Until then…

Quiet please.

In the meantime, let’s talk about anything else.  Like this guy here.

I know. He's not there yet but it's just a matter of time. You know it and I know it.
