The Name-Our-Chat-Room Contest

The Voice is very soon to have its own 24/7 video chat room. It will ultimately be run by the great and powerful, Abrra Kadabrra (aka Master,) the sole possessor of the almighty spam wand. We are taking suggestions for a name for our new chat room which shall be open to one and all. Submit them in the comments section on this thread. Toward the middle of the week, we will put up the best 3 for a vote.
We must have a name before Abrra can begin to work her magic, so the sooner we have it, the sooner the room will be open for business and we can all move in.
So….What do you think the new room should be called? Inquiring minds want to know.
Do it for

“Kokaubeam” It signifies stars, or all the great lights which were in the firmament of heaven (Reference Book of Abraham, Chap. 3). David would be familiar with this passage of scripture. As well as its meaning, I think the word itself is quirky and fun and you could design your website with lots of rays of light. David is a “star” not just in a celebrity sense but in the giving out of much light sense and so those who come in to use your chat room would always be reminded to keep their chat “light and bright and positive”. This is just a random idea anyhow … :O)

As far as my two cents on the name:
Whaterever ya name the new chat room, you need to be mindful of the initials it will become because that is how we refer to them anyways. So mabe a terrific three or four letter word. THIGHS.. oh no, not quite what I meant. NBT.. Next Best Thing oh I am not very good at this… DavidSpaceArchuleta… I’m likeing that one.. then there is no initial issue.. oh there are others I like better. Parking Space for DJA .. I like the “ODD Stop” and “Where did they all park” or “Where they all Parked” the best so far…

I don’t think any picture of David’s eyes can top that one up there in post #20. Who has eyes like those?? Nobody! I had such a strong reaction when I saw that pic and I’m still picking myself up off the floor! The color is beautiful but I think it’s the expression in his eyes that is doing a number on me. I can’t stop looking at them. Angelica is a bad bad girl. LOL

How about Joyful Voices as a name for the chat room in honor of David singing Joyful, Joyful (how I wish we had a full version of that!) and because he makes us feel joyful/joyous. It was both a relief and a joy to hear, through the twitter airwaves, about David’s appearance tonight in Guatamala. David said he was going to Central America for ‘a charity thing’. He gave a heartfelt speech whose message could be felt back home. He said so many things that are inspirational to all cultures. Read somewhere that Justin Williams vocal coach is Dean Kaelin and that he made it to the top 24 last season on Idol but was released because his extended family violated the clause regarding not disclosing who is in the top 24. So it appears that he is getting a second chance this year. Sure seems by his song choices that he wants Archuleta fans to notice him! I’m sure David would wish him well.

I no longer watch AI. Don’t have time, but even if I did, I wouldn’t.
I watched & listened to the young man Justin’s versions of Crush (pretty good) and Apologize, also OK, but didn’t “feel” it. Then I watched & listened to David’s Apologize and I could FEEL the angst, the pain, the full range of emotions & the passion David expressed each time he sang Apologize, starting with the AI tour then again in the summer tour when he brought it up a notch. We all know no one can match David’s stunning renditions of the songs he sings. He is after all, The Voice! Sometimes I wonder why any singer, professional or amateur, would even try to cover David’s songs or the covers David has done (all of which he owns now). 😉
But this Justin is pretty good…he’s just not David. 😀

190/ Hi Silverfox! I’m mostly a lurker on the fan sites but I always enjoy reading your comments – you are a great supporter of David!! Must admit to being a little protective of David over the Justin Williams guy – he’s definitely a good singer and good looking but I think he should be forging his own way instead of trying to get Archuleta fans to notice him. That’s probably a waste of time since so many of us don’t watch Idol anymore and won’t vote!

David’s blog from Honduras…sweet!!
Hey there all! Hope the new year has been going well so far still. If it hasn’t been quite what you’ve expected so far, remember it’s still the beginning haha. I’m sure there are many different ways you can improve your start to the year. I’ve really enjoyed it so far!
So I’ve been in Central America for the week! It’s been so great! I was in Guatemala for my first time during the beginning of the week, and I just landed in Honduras today which is where my mom is from! So I am amongst the people that make up the other half of my blood. After landing, we went straight to visit some of my mom’s family and got to spend time with them. It was great! And we’ve been having baleadas to eat! Which is a native dish here that is sort of like a burrito haha. I don’t remember if I mentioned this before but my mom is actually down here with me, and it’s been awesome having her here.
If you were wondering why I’m down here, it is because I was invited to come down and see what an organization called Enterprise Mentors was all about. It’s an organization that helps families who struggle with poverty become self-reliant and make a living. We’ve been meeting with several of the families and seeing how it’s affected them. It’s really neat and touching to see how different other people’s lives can be from ours. We take so much for granted way too often in our lives, and it’s amazing the way people live. It amazed me to see how happy they are when they see improvement in their work, and these people are hard workers! If you want to learn more about what I’ve been learning about you can go to http://www.enterprise-mentors.org. It’s a neat cause that gives people that push and encouragement they need to start their own businesses, and become successful after coming from so little.
Aside from meeting with families and having other meetings, while in Guatemala we were able to go to Antigua which is a beautiful historical city. It was a lot of fun walking around and feeling like we went back into time. We also have been enjoying the food here, and being around the people. I wish we had more time to spend down here! But I’ve been loving it! My mom doesn’t want to leave, and I don’t either lol. But I guess that’s all the more reason to come back! We still have quite a bit we’re doing down here this week, and meeting with more people. And the little kids are so cute! haha. Sometimes we hand out lollipops and they come swarming around you.
Well we’re headed out again, but I just wanted to drop a quick note and let you guys know what I’ve been up to! I’m really sorry that I haven’t updated you guys with a blog lately, but it’s been a little difficult coming across internet and time at the same time haha. But I’ll be sure to let you know the rest of what goes on this week later on! I’ll try and show some pictures too, even though I look nasty and need a haircut REALLY bad! But anyway, until next time. Angelica, I was down there with you. After watching Bebe’s marvelous slide show, I was just thinking today, “How is it humanly possible to NEVER, NEVER, NEVER take a bad picture?” (Yes, I did just split that infinitive.) If I wore a brown, knit cap like David did at one of the Jingle thingy interviews, I would look like an acorn. I would actually like proof that he can for a brief moment be something other that gorgeous or adorable.
I have obviously abandoned that whole spend-less-time-online New Year’s Resolution thing. I think I’ll go with the eat-less-tofu resolution instead.

Then, just spend a bit of time looking at the picture that heads the article…Wow, that is not the same boy with his mom…
