To teach us how to give … Alabama
I am blessed. There are really no words to clarify how blessed I truly am, but I will do my best to convey what’s in my heart.
Several of us had this conversation throughout the end of the Christmas From The Heart tour. But since not everyone was there, I really wanted to take an opportunity to share some of the thoughts and feelings that were discussed. Abrra has mentioned that at Foxwoods many of us had front row seats. If I were to believe this was by chance or pure coincidence, I believe I’d be mistaken.
David has close to 300K twitter followers. He has tens of thousands of fans worldwide. Many of these fans, will never be lucky enough to see David live in concert. Most of these fans, will never have an opportunity to meet David. And YET .. here we are. A handful of folks, from all over the country, that forged an everlasting bond, through the glue that is comprised of all things David Archuleta.
We’ve had many opportunities to see David live in concert. (I don’t even want to count, because the sheer number would be staggering.) We’ve had many opportunities to meet David in person. We’ve been able to extend a hand, an embrace, to look into his eyes, and thank him for all his hard work, to thank him for allowing us to be a part of his journey, to express how the voice touches our collective hearts.
I don’t want anyone to feel left out, or omitted, because I do believe that we have not been drawn together by mere chance. Some things are supposed to happen for a reason… I have always believed that. Even if the answer doesn’t reveal itself immediately, at some point, we all come to understand why certain things have happened in our lives.
I am not, and never have been a fan of American Idol. I don’t like or dislike the show; I am just not afforded a lot of time to watch television. I saw David by accident flipping through the stations the night the San Diego auditions aired.
Now it’s almost 2 years later. Not only has David become eternally part of our lives… so have the friendships he’s created without even knowing it.
He knows he has what he refers to as “the really dedicated fans”, that he sees repeatedly. What I don’t think he knows, is how many of us travel together, share rooms, open our homes, our cars… and our hearts to these unique and forever friendships. They span across states and across countries. There was a moment during soundcheck at Foxwoods… Silverfox and I were sitting next to each other in the front row off to David’s left. And we both saw him do a double take. He looked at me, he looked at SF.. he looked back at me.. and he looked back at SF.. and he smiled his smile.. and I think he realized at that point.. we actually knew each other. (Later on SF and I would joke about this moment, and wonder if David was ready to send morse code to Ray.. OH NO.. they actually know each other.. AND THEY’RE TOGETHER !!!)
In Stroudsburg David asked me where I was actually from. I said, “You don’t KNOW??” And we laughed; he said, “I’ve seen you in so many places, I don’t think I know or I don’t remember.” I said, “I live in New Jersey.” He said, “OH.. okay.. New Jersey.” He repeats a lot. I’ve heard he does that to try to remember things…who knows. I never take that time with David to try to say something meaningful..because we know how well THAT worked for me. I no longer do that type of planning. We just chat about whatever comes up. But when he asked me where I was from, I remembered he’d asked SF that same question at another VIP. Of course she was too busy walking away from him to realize he was still having a conversation with her. But there were a lot of us around to prompt her attention back to David. I love ya SF.. I do.
I’m not a huggy person; I’m painfully shy. And YET.. there are hugs and kisses aplenty when these gatherings form. We take up full tables at restaurants and we have no shame or worry. We are in our element. We are among are favorite people, all riding the same cloud, all breathless and loud with excitement over the same thing. I’ve never seen so many women squee in delight simultaneously as I have during these gatherings.
To sit in a hotel room with 5 or 6 women watching a YouTube video of a recent performance and without prompting, every SINGLE one erupts in glee at the EXACT same moment… is something that will live on in my mind forever.
IF we get a chance to do this again later in 2010, I’m not only willing, but would like to try to bring more of us together. I’d love for djafan and Angelica to meet the rest of us over on this side of the coast. I’ll donate to plane fare and hotel costs. I’ll forgo the opportunity to go to several concerts, for an opportunity to have the biggest get together we can plan on having.
We are very blessed indeed and if I never get a chance to tell you in person, please know… I mean it just the same. I love you all.. and your friendships are the best thing that has happened to me during 2009. Here’s to a great 2010 !!!

You speak of things intangible to the senses, yet we know it is true. He is an angel who has shown us the way to each others heart. Knowing that we usually are on some weird wavelength, I will say that just last night I spoke to Betsy of a get together of sorts. I said I wanted to go to Nashville to absorb the vibe of the city. Betsy has the same wish. We mentioned it tonight in chat and a few more expressed the same desire. Imagine a mini fanvention where there was no actual David event? One never knows. It could work out. There is much culture in Nashville that would be interesting to take in. Another time there was discussion of picking a city on David’s next tour to meet up with friends. Lets all keep this in mind as we go forward into 2010?

“If it looks like it’s going to be late in the year, perhaps we can have a fanvention. How cool would it be to all hook up in a hotel for a weekend, watching David videos.. having some wine.. and having a huge slumber party.. as many of us as physically possible. I never thought about that before, and you’re the first person I’m bringing it to..but how cool would it be to start something like that? In the absence of his presence…we should still get together… and celebrate what he does for us.. on daily basis.”

Wow ladies – the planets are lining up today – in addition to the blue moon!
I had the same fantasy earlier. About a bunch of us together watching David videos and sharing the love for a getaway weekend! I believe my fantasy included a floor to ceiling screen, but whatever…ha ha!
I love the idea of Nashville. I’ve been intrigued by it ever since David was there writing. Count me in – where ever it is. Nashville just seems to make sense, but I’m open.

now about that fanvention, I am planning to go to the US in late March to mid April 2010. So I am crossing my fingers, arms and anything that if you are planning anything I do hope a David fan activity can be planned during my tentative US trip. 🙂 🙂

It was my joy to be there with you and all the others. These golden memories will have to last awhile but every encounter was meaningful, fun and graced by David’s love for all he’s been able to do. I would not trade a minute of it (well perhaps the blizzard ride to Northhampton.) Can’t wait to see you all again.

In my conversation about this in chat, emi said April or October is best. The weather is brutally humid in summer. We really didn’t take the conversation beyond that. Nothing is set in stone. If Vee will be coming to the states around April, that’s a nice place to begin the dream.
I wonder if Nashville has cherry trees in bloom in April?

Abrra, Thank goodness my husband had left the room when I clicked as you suggested. I burst out laughing and he would have wanted to see what I thought was so funny. He really is growing up before our eyes.
Really nice article Dawn. I have attended two VIP’s and enjoyed them not only because of David, but the people I met were wonderful and they understood me, in some ways more than my own family and friends. At the Boston vip I met both men and women, old and young, with an enthusiasm and reverence for “the voice” who I completely identified with. My husband (and daughter at the NH show) also enjoyed talking with people who attended as the guest of “dedicated fans” and they were able to see that this condition that has taken over me is not as unusual as they thought.
I stood in the mosh pit (while my husband was in the balcony) with girls who brought flowers and people of all ages who were moved to tears by many of the numbers. I also witnessed many men who braved the floor to get a closer view. Benton Paul gave a prize to the fan who had traveled the furthest to see the show. Many states outside New England were mentioned, but China won. I’m not surprised MJ from the blog was inspired to finally write a positive blog about David after this night. The performance was transcendent. I felt so blessed to be able to experience this concert, easily the best I’ve ever seen. My holidays have never been so serene and spirit filled.
Thank you to all of you who post on a regular basis, I enjoy reading each and every comment. This is a great site. Happy New Year to you all!

dawn, this morning you have swelled my heart and watered my eyes. I have never had the privilege of meeting any of you, but am continually touched and awed by the comaraderie and friendships forged through David. I think his goal is to connect with and unite people through his music; and he is masterful at it, just by being himself and doing what he loves.
Hope to join in the fun this year at whatever, wherever (even though I hate, hate flying!) It sounds too good to miss!
vee, thanks for the better vid of Don’t Stop Believing. It sounds incredible…what a rockstar! In a quick shot of him in a previous video singing that song (may have been an interview video) he pulls the mic away from his face and just has the biggest grin on his face (I know, he always has a smile, but this one seemed different)…he was freaking loving it! The next 6-9 months are going to seem like a lifetime! the fanvention maybe a lifesaver!

Dawn, this is a beautiful writing coming to us during your recovery. Did you miss us?? Well, we always miss you when you are away.
David did have a little lip quiver during his last vlog when he mentioned that he was a bit sad to see the tour end. I think that he knows who some of his people are and he said “yes…from Nova Scotia”…in Westbury. Well he had to get it sometime after I introduce myself as the lady from Nova Scotia until no one could forget it. I just want him to know that people come from Canada as well…on a bit of a regular basis.
Wasn’t that Providence that we were in the hotel room looking at the video of David and having a good time…no description required? But then, that has probably happened more than once!
I loved reading your writing this morning, it is a lovely New Year’s Day surprise.

Dawn!! I was thrilled to see an article from you! Count me in; the fanvention is a great idea that we have been toying with for a while now and it finally looks real! So funny how David looked back and forth from you to SF with the realization that ‘they know each other!’. LOL I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again; David understands more than we realize; I’m convinced of it!
Forming new friendships is a beautiful thing but there is something wonderfully mysterious going on and David, unbeknownst to him, is at the bottom of it. How else would we have all found each other on this ‘bouncing ball’ of life? David is the catalyst that brought us all together. I’m bringing my own quote over from Snowangelz (I love those girls!) if I may, because it relates to this and everyone there seemed to be in agreement. Here it is:
“I’m beginning to think that “someone” hand picked us and deliberately placed us all here together on David’s red carpet so that we could teach and inspire each other and learn from one another.”
And that’s all I’ll say about that! LOL

Dawn, I was thrilled when I came in & saw your very beautiful article.
I had to smile when I remembered the look on David’s face when he come on stage at the soundcheck in Foxwoods, gave us a little wave & smile with a look of…disbelief maybe? It was priceless. When he saw me in Westbury, he did not seem a bit surprised! 😆
Now about the “Archangels Gathering for The Voice”, tell me when & where & I will be there!
However, I really don’t think we’ll have to wait too long before David tours again. I think he will sign on with another artist or artists as a co-headliner ( or as an opener for a BIG artist). We won’t have to wait til his album is released unless it’s released by Spring. I just think David wants to take his time with this album. He will make sure it’s up to his standards and his perfectionist nature will be in full force with this album. But he does have to continue making a living and making money for Jive. And he has to keep himself out there. If he doesn’t tour, he will do appearances for different events. He has to. This is what he loves. I just can’t see him taking several months off from performing in concert. I would not be surprised if he does a short tour overseas. He doesn’t really need new material to tour overseas. He is very much in demand in other countries. This is JMHO. We shall see.

Wonderful article, Dawn. There does seem to be something going on here that is not easily explained. I have been amazed by all the heart connections and selfless acts of kindness among those I have met online since this journey began. I have been there in a hotel room with several other women in a tightly gathered bunch around a YouTube video. We feel the same things and react at the same times. There is so much in your post that is so true for so many of us. And then so many things happen that make you wonder, (is this just coincidence?). A few days ago, I have no idea how or why I came upon the pic at the top, but I copied and saved it. It’s called, “There are Angels all Around Us.” Something just told me to save it. Then late yesterday afternoon, Dawn sent this article to me, titled, “There are Angels Among us.” I had something else in the can ready to go up, but I knew as soon as I saw it, this was the next article. The one we need to go forward into the new year with. When we first started this site, the first blog, more a short mission statement really, (see About the Voice, top banner) stated, “This is a gathering of angels.” We support and uplift David and minister to each other. Like Dawn (and David) said, things happen for a reason. People, as the song “For Good” goes in Wicked, come into our lives for a reason. And because I knew you all, including David, I have been changed “for good.”
So Nashville…here I come. And who knows, maybe David will be writing there then. 😆 SF, what you posted makes a lot of sense and gives me hope for a tour sooner than I had believed.

Sorry I had everyone worried !! I can’t imagine how nervous you guys must have been on that track to PA. I should have known something was around the corner.. I’ve never felt like that before. And you all trusted me to get you there safely.. higher power.. I’ll never fail to believe in it. You would not have recognized me 12 hours later. I’m just NOW.. in the last 24 hours.. starting to be in a coherent state of being.
It could have been much much worse.. but in this case, I’m glad I listened to my body.. and not tried to force myself to see David come heck or high water.. the results could have been disastrous to him and everyone else.

Maybe David thought he would be given a Sun Bowl logo type shirt to wear, as he was for Tampa, Rio Tinto, U.S. Open and so didn’t bring anything special. Doesn’t matter, he was beautiful as usual.

Loved reading your post, you know I’ve always been a big fan of yours. It’s so interesting that we are all drawn to David in so many ways that I don’t have words for.
“He knows he has what he refers to as “the really dedicated fans”, that he sees repeatedly. What I don’t think he knows, is how many of us travel together, share rooms, open our homes, our cars… and our hearts to these unique and forever friendships. They span across states and across countries. There was a moment during soundcheck at Foxwoods… Silverfox and I were sitting next to each other in the front row off to David’s left. And we both saw him do a double take. He looked at me, he looked at SF.. he looked back at me.. and he looked back at SF.. and he smiled his smile.. and I think he realized at that point.. we actually knew each other. (Later on SF and I would joke about this moment, and wonder if David was ready to send morse code to Ray.. OH NO.. they actually know each other.. AND THEY’RE TOGETHER !!!)”
This is so special for him to see. Not only do we as fans follow him around but now he has first hand knowledge that two of his most ardent fans have connected…lol
And I do truly hope that I get to meet all of you some day.

Been over at twitter having a one-sided conversation with David. I get that way when I’m really missing him. I mean, after watching videos over & over, I just have to “talk” to him somehow. 😆
I really hope he’s still in the Dallas area for Jason’s wedding. But I have a question. When & where was it announced that Jason was getting married today? Not from Jason. In fact, his last tweet last night was that he was sick & taking Theraflu. Also, David’s dad was with him in El Paso & most likely went to Dallas with David as his Aunt is dad’s sister, but Daniel said he & dad were going snowboarding today. So unless dad went home & David stayed in Texas, something is amiss. I do hope dad went home though and David stayed for the wedding if there is a wedding today. Daniel seemed excited about snowboarding with his dad.
Anyway, just being my nosy self. 😆 Wherever David is, I miss him! 😥
If there is a wedding today & David is there, he will have a blast…lots of singing, dancing & FOOD at typical Texas Hispanic weddings, and Jason’s family is Hispanic. 😆

Sorry to disagree about the guy in the suit. The shoulders are too wide IMO. He may not be the guy in the white shirt either, but the shoulders are more like David’s. He may not even have been at the church, so who knows. He’s not about to say he was there until well after the fact if at all and we’ll never know what he was wearing unless more pics appear showing his face. 😀

Baleadas are to Honduras what burritos are to Mexico.
Take a fresh warm tortilla (6″, 8″ or 12″ — your call) and add your favorite fixings:
° Pintos, simmered or mashed
° Shredded cheese
° Sweet/sour cream
(Central American dairies make a wonderful thin sweet/sour cream, crema, which has different names wherever you go. We have had it all the way from Guatemala to Panama and I can find it at a local Mexican deli…This domestic product, Creme Fraiche Alouette, is about as close as I can come.)
Others enjoy and will add these to their baleadas:
° Simmered beef
° Minced onions
° Diced jalapenos
° Egg
° Avocado
Fold, roll, however you care to do it — and dig in.

That photo of David “trying” to have breakfast was taken by one of Jason’s mgrs from CA, David Helfant. I have to smile at all the people just staring at him while he signs something for the lady, which never would have happened if Ray had been there. ;-). Same with that pic of the guys showing David the football at the game & David just looking like “Whhhaaattt?” They wouldn’t have gotten within 10 feet of David. Ray always makes sure David is never approached by anyone unless David gives a signal it’s ok. Someday very soon, David will need a bodyguard with him whether he likes it or not when he’s away from home. His mgmt will just have to insist on it. I wonder what David was thinking as everyone is staring at him especially since he is really shy with new people. He can pretty much go anywhere at home & even his fans leave him alone even if they’re dying to meet & talk to him.

But what else could he do when asked for his autograph in front of all those people? That’s why he needs someone to run interference for him. Someone who can & will stay in the background but close enough to make sure David is safe & can at least enjoy time to have a leisure breakfast. I’m not talking about an entourage, just a strong dude who David would feel comfortable with.
Or maybe I’m making a mountain out of a…well you know.
And about the “red eye”. He always gets it when he’s stressed, like before or after an important appearance….like Ann Arbor or the Sun Bowl. 😉

I know, Silverfox, I feel the same way. I wouldn’t approach him when he’s at a restaurant with friends. But I do understand the impulse for those who have never met him and see him unexpectedly. Think he was ninja with his tweets for that reason — this was a private occasion to celebrate a friend’s big day.

That red eye. I head someone (with a medical background) explain it once — or at least take a stab at explaining without examining the eye. She said that it can happen with a physical strain, like when David sings a song or songs that require more effort to reach and maintain notes. Wonder if it could be related to the Sun Bowl singing …

If Ray cannot be with him, then he needs a suitable substitute. He is a fast rising star as has been mentioned and the fan’s approach was possibly embarrassing, intrusive to David and the others as well as inappropriate.
It is time for a full time person to be with David out of respect for him as well as for others in his company.
It is time for professionalism from his supporting staff to come through for him. They don’t have to be obvious but then can be nearby and step in.

Kathy…You are correct and strain etc. contributes to the problem with his eye. Advice had been secured from a well renowned doctor during the last episode of his red eye. There is a solid medical explanation for this happening to him and information was passed along to Ray to assist in alleviating the situation, but I am now unsure if the info. was received by David. It was a busy time that day and Ray was on a tight schedule.

I know this is crazy, but I can’t help it. I just love to see photos of David doing regular things every one does like going to weddings or the movies or shopping or to restaurants, or anywhere. I know it’s invasion of his privacy and all, but just knowing he can have even a semblance of a normal life makes me feel so good and that’s why I love seeing any and all photos of David doing normal things.
And why the paparazzi make the big bucks, cause they know this about celebs fans. But these aren’t paparazzi. David has to know there will be photos of him and we are hungry for them. Right?

Dawn I enjoyed your article. I too believe that there is a reason why things happen. I loved the Anne of Green Gables books when I was young and I recognized the “kindred spirits” concept even back then. Those who “get” David probably understand what I am talking about even though I am not sure how to explain it. Many of the people I have met since I first fell for the voice and the person who is David, have been blessed to have felt this kindred spirit kind of connection. It is interesting that the recognition or connection we have with other people who “get” David is often so immediate, and how strong theses connections and friendships become. It is quite the phenomenon. I am so grateful to David and the spirit that surrounds him for these heart connections and friendships which I have been so blessed by. I would have never dreamed of all of this just two years ago. I hope I get to meet more of you in the future, and by the way, Dawn, what video were you guys watching in that hotel room? LOL I can picture you guys because I have experienced the same thing in another hotel room clear across the country. Funny huh? SF: I’m with you, I love to see David having a normal life, eating in restaurants, being with his friends. Somehow it makes me think he’s happy. Although, I know David is pretty happy when he is on stage, too.
I was thinking about how lucky we are to be in love with a STAR in this day of youtube. We get to watch performances we would never see if it was just a few years ago when David rose to fame. And it’s also pretty nice that he’s so photogenic 😉

Keep watching that DST and WOW! His stage presence, his carriage, his confidence and maturity. He looks like he has been on a stage singing rock songs since the day he was born, his performances are mesmerizing. And his sincerity just comes through, regardless of it being a 1200 seat intimate space or a 50,000 seat arena.
He has had so many things thrown at him the past 2 years, and he just continues to step up to the plate. I would think he has surpassed every expectation Jive had.
Will be interesting to see how the next album goes, how much control they give David, and if he chooses to stay put. You would imagine there has to be a slew of labels that would be pursuing him.

It is really such a shock when we don’t get to see a performance online and waiting for good vids from the Sun Bowl really brought that home. Not sure where David is today. He could have gone home today, or he may be going home tomorrow. Anyway, wherever David is tonight, I want him to know how much we love him, how much he is needed in our lives, how much happiness he has given us. I hope I’m right about us not having to wait too long before another tour is announced. Maybe a couple of months. He runs offstage with a jump and a wave, and the moment the house lights come up, your heart drops. It’s over. How can it be over that fast? Weren’t you just chanting his name, jumping up and down, screaming at the top of your lungs while under the impression that he’d acknowledge your scream above anyone else’s? And as you gather up your belongings and scoot out of your row into the aisles, you look around and smile. You know exactly why you’re involved with David Archuleta.
What is it that people are so interested in? At first speculation, it’s his voice. Let’s look at David as a tree. Funny, yes, but a good analogy. The purity in his voice is the roots of the tree that grow and entangle themselves into the dirt depths of your soul, cleansing it and creating new life and new ties. These are roots that cannot be taken up; the purity will always be there, and unless the tree is physically uprooted, it cannot be moved.
From the roots, we move to the ground. The solid ground on which the tree stands is his morals and his character. “I just feel like I’m me,” David says. With a firm and unrelenting declaration, he clarifies that while he does not fall into the majority of teenagers his age, he still falls into the category of the average teen—goofy, talkative, excited, and curious. His character, though the surrounding environment may run it dry, though it may flood it with care, though feet may tread all over it, does not give up or cave in. The tree still stands unyielding on his morals and character.
From the ground, we move to the trunk. The trunk is the strongest part of the tree, the part that keeps the tree upright, keeps it from wilting, falling over, or wavering. The trunk of the tree consists of two ‘f’s’—family and faith. Consistently, frequently, David speaks of his family and how much family means to him. He says home is where the family is. He loves them unconditionally, even though they are probably the average set of siblings and have their quarrels and differences. But then there is his faith. David has placed a steadfast, strong faith in God, and it shines through every pore of his body. The spirit of God just radiates from the passion with which David sings. Need an example? Watch any performance of “Prayer of the Children.” David is a mouthpiece for God’s word. In that particular song, he is pleading for someone, anyone, to hear the prayer of innocent children looking for a better life, a safe home, and someone to help them feel joy again; it is not just his physical being pleading—it is a plea from someone not of this earth. The trunk of a tree upholds the tree. David’s family and faith upholds his life.
The trunk then gives life to the branches of the tree. These branches represent David’s music and career. Branches of a tree grow; they reach out and stretch to the ends of the earth, eager to grow. Every day, David’s career grows. Every day, there is a new interview, a new review, a new concert, and new information that places David in a more prominent position, a more well-known position, and a respected position. When children climb trees, they climb up the trunk and sit on the branches to see from new heights, to observe from a new vantage point. Inquisitively, people hear of David’s music. They immediately climb the tree, unconcerned with the roots or the trunk, and sit on the branches to hear his music. It’s a breath of fresh air—no screaming, no cursing, good messages… the music is unlike anything they’ve ever heard, and it’s not just from the music itself—it’s the voice. And soon, they begin to look down at the sturdy trunk that is upholding the tree. They slowly climb down the trunk, feeling every groove in the bark, noticing how large and strong the trunk is, and once their feet hit the ground—the solid ground of moral and character—they notice that the roots are dug deep into the ground. Like a chain reaction, they quickly become a frequent visitor to the tree. And then they bring a friend. That friend brings a friend. Soon, it becomes a daily visit full of excitement and wonder with new surprises every day.
But what makes the tree big and beautiful? What gives the tree its color, its shape, its liveliness? The leaves do. Each leaf is completely different. They may all look similar, but they each have one individual characteristic that makes them special to the tree. Each leave is attached to the same tree; sometimes the leaves touch, sometimes they flutter to the ground and get raked up. But each leaf is a part of the tree. Likewise, each fan is a part of David. No matter how big or how small, we are all significant to David’s career and music. He holds each one of us, but if we want to let go, we let go and fall to the ground. Yet he still appreciates the time you’ve spent with him.
What’s more, some leaves share a branch in the same way that some fans share a bond. David said: “It makes me feel like there must be something more that’s involved with this, because it can’t just be me.” David is the base of the interest, the root of the interest. Without him, there wouldn’t be new friendships or frequent traveling. Ever since we became fans, we find ourselves traveling all over the United States to places we never thought we’d visit. Those who were previously afraid of flying have braved an airplane just to be surrounded by friends while seeing David’s concert. Friendships formed online turned into lifelong personal friendships—and no, your online friend did not turn out to be an ax murderer. Our families and friends think we’re crazy, but we live in a whole alternate universe. We take off work, we skip school, and we get to the venue by any means possible. We sing loudly, we dance without inhibition, we cry with meaning, we hug like we mean it, and we smile constantly. This is how we know that the interest goes beyond David—the friendships we have formed speak volumes upon how he has affected our lives. We will never be the same. Friends that we’ve met through him will never flutter off of the tree.
You smile and look around. There are all of your friends, gathering up their belongings too, shaking their heads in disbelief at what they’ve just heard. They run up to you and start talking a million miles per hour about how incredible the show was. You look back to the stage where David was just standing. You know exactly why you’re a fan.

I’d been trying to type a comment for the last few minutes but I have Abs’ Tour CD playing in the background and David is singing “Prayer of the Children”. Guys, he won’t let me think enough to type two words! His voice commands me to sit and listen exclusively with no multi-tasking allowed! Did I mention how I love it?

First day back to work after the holidays is NOT fun. And not knowing where and how David is, is also NOT fun. Not that we have to know what he’s up to every minute, but just to know he is feeling well & eating well, especially after he tweets “Tengo hambre”, and that he’s happy wherever he is..that’s really all I would like to know :D.
OK so it’s more than I NEED to know..so sue me! 😆
BTW..the photo of David with Jason & his bride Mandy is beautiful! And Boy, the three of them are a prime example of the “worlds most beautiful people”. I can’t understand why people keep saying David is so small..he sure doesn’t look much smaller than Jason. I have never thought of David as “little” or “small” or “tiny”. OK, so he’s not huge, but he’s larger than life to me.
