Thank you all so very very much for your kind comments regarding our mother, Cherryl, known to most of you as dakgal. On behalf of us, her children, Scott, Bret, Tim and Lisa, you gave her more joy than you’ll ever comprehend. We enjoyed so much listening to her when she spoke of David and you, her on line friends–it just made her so damn happy!!! I cried the morning I read of DAKGal’s passing away. She coined the term “grand mal spazzing” and is therefore ACES in my book and will forever be. RIP, lovely lady.

Oh djafan, thank you for bringing us that video. There is David with his silken voice telling us we need to get through this, even though we have lost someone and can’t believe they are really gone. Things will be better and we will go on. But we will always remember.

Dakgal’s postings are like David’s recordings. Every time I read them I find something cool I had missed the first time. One of my favorites: “And the occasional Cheeto. You can’t be good all the time.”

All of your thoughts are so much appreciated. I can only imagine how much her family is going to miss her when I who had never met her is missing her. She left such an impact with her beautiful personality that shone through in written words.
